He’ll gladly take just room and board (he’s a food whore, will eat anything in your fridge) and lots of love for the job! Moose has a fierce loyalty to the people he loves. He is extremely affectionate and loving. He does not skim on kisses 😊He loves laying next to his people, just chilling and being in the moment with them. Outside, he loves to play fetch. He’ll play fetch until the cows come home. This boy brings the ball back and patiently waits for it to be thrown again. He also chases birds and small animals so no cats for Moosey Goosey! Moose loves the outdoors. He’ll literally hang out outside all day if you let him. Moose is 2.5 years old. He is looking for an adult only home due to his initial distrust of people he does not know. Moose is terrified of the world. He is hoping his new family will be patient and show him how to trust. He yearns to be understood, gain confidence and freely love and trust. He is fiercely loyal and protective of the ones he loves but getting there is a journey. The end results is so rewarding, though. You will be so loved, and you will never feel scared or alone again. A fenced yard is a mist.

MBR holds monthly adoption events on the 2nd Saturday of every month at Tractor Supply in Columbia Station, 24100 Royalton Road from 11 am - 2 pm. Questions can be emailed to rescue@mbrohio.com Meet Buddy, a 1-year-old, 65-pound Mastiff mix with the heart of a gentle giant and the wiggle of a happy puppy! This lovable boy is the full package — friendly, goofy, affectionate, and ready to find his forever family. Buddy is great with dogs, cats, and kids, and he adjusts beautifully to new friends of all shapes and sizes. He’s potty trained and crate trained, though he may whine a bit at first. He walks well on a leash, knows sit, and is very treat motivated. He’s a toy connoisseur who adores stuffies, bones, and Kongs, and he’s just as happy chewing a bone by your side as he is romping around with canine buddies. Buddy also loves a good game of fetch — especially with a soft toy — and his famous wiggly butt comes out in full force when he’s excited. And when he really gets playing? He does the most hysterical butt-slam truck move you’ve ever seen! Buddy does have a bad eye, the result of something that happened before arriving at MBR. He currently needs a daily medication to support his eye health. MBR is monitoring it closely and will discuss his ongoing care with potential adopters — but rest assured, Buddy doesn’t let it slow him down one bit. Buddy is a bright, loving, joy-filled boy who just wants to be with his people. If you think Buddy could be the perfect fit for your family, fill out an application ASAP! If you are interested in adopting one of our dogs, the first thing to do is submit an application for approval. All dogs available for adoption are in foster homes. Please do not visit the rescue location as it is a privately run boarding, training, & grooming facility. Individual meet and greets are scheduled by appointment only for approved adopters.
