She came to us as an owner surrender due to a divorce in the family, and now she’s hoping her next chapter will be filled with love, adventure, and a forever home.Daisy can be a little nervous in the shelter, but once she’s out of her kennel, she’s ready to GO, GO, GO! She’s a happy, sweet, and social girl who loves attention and enjoys getting outside for physical activities. Just be prepared — if Daisy spots a squirrel, she may suddenly decide she’s training for the squirrel-chasing Olympics. Daisy is very strong on leash, so she’ll need a confident, strong handler who can help her put her best paw forward.Once Daisy gets to know you, her friendly personality shines. She has a medium energy level and would love an active family who can give her plenty of opportunities to explore, exercise, and enjoy life. She previously lived with another dog and did well, so a canine companion may be a possibility with proper introductions. As always, a meet and greet is required with your dog is required. She also lived with children and did well. She has no exposure to cats.Daisy also has some great house manners! Her previous owner reports that she is housetrained, and she keeps her kennel clean here at the shelter. She was accustomed to sleeping in her crate at night and knows her basic commands of “sit” and “stay.” One thing to know about our little cowgirl: cars aren`t really her cup of tea. She isn`t a fan of car rides or cars passing on the street, so she`ll need a patient family willing to help her build confidence around them.The good news? Daisy is ready to start her new life. She is spayed, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, and heartworm negative.
