You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Tinsel  Part of our Emergency Christmas Crew, Tinsel is a Mastiff x Rottweiler mix (with maybe a little Beagle spice) born September 4, 2025. This sweet girl has proven to be incredibly social with people, dogs, and cats. She’s done wonderfully with cats, kids, adults, and dogs of all sizes and ages—a confident, happy puppy who truly loves being part of the action. Tinsel is crate trained, working on leash skills and house manners, and doing very well for her age with only the occasional puppy accident. She enjoys adventures and exercise but is just as happy curling up as a snuggle bug. She’s very food motivated and exceptionally bright, often picking up commands and training quickly, making her a fantastic candidate for continued learning and formal training. Tinsel does experience car/motion sickness, so her adopters will need to be patient and prepared to help manage this as she grows (many puppies outgrow it with time and positive experiences). As a large-breed puppy, Tinsel is expected to grow into a big girl. Her future family will need to be committed to ongoing training and continued socialization to help her develop into a well-mannered, confident adult dog. I've been the longest resident here, having arrived in April 2025 as a transfer to reach a new audience of potential adopters. Despite my efforts to charm everyone with my friendly nature, I've been overlooked. I'm determined to find the perfect family who will appreciate my unique personality and quirks.When it comes to meeting new people, I am generally friendly but can be a bit cautious and selective. I thrive in the company of adult humans and enjoy their companionship. However, I must admit that I'm not a fan of children, so it's best for me to be in a home without little ones to ensure everyone's comfort and happiness.I have a few key motivators that bring out the best in me: toys, treats, people, and praise. I love a tasty snack, but moderation is key to keeping me healthy and happy. While I've mastered basic obedience, I still have a big puppy demeanor that sometimes shows in my leash skills. I'm known for creating my own symphony by flipping my dish around and pulling the stuffing out of plush toys-what can I say, I'm a musician at heart!I long to be the King of my castle.
