Story
Quasi is a 105-pound 2.5-year-old Mastiff/Lab mix. My family has had him since he was about 12 weeks old and we have had to make the difficult decision to find him a home that is a better fit (which, I believe, requires that he is the only pet in the house). He loves people; my kids are 14 and 22, and he has been around a kid as young as 9 and loves every minute. (He is, however, like any dog and will bark if a stranger shows up at your house.) We have cats and he loves them, he just wants to play. Our adult cats do fine with him, but he is too rough with our kitten, not on purpose, he just doesn’t realize his own strength. He has never shown aggression toward people and initially, Quasi did great with our other dogs (one male, one female, and both fixed). He has now attacked our male dog several times causing serious wounds. We can't continue to try to keep them seperate. He needs a home where he is the only dog. He needs room to run. He needs more training. Please contace me for info

Story
Dahlia was found with Bruce on 3/12/25 at Marcola Road and Mohawk River Road. It is unknown if she is spayed. If you believe this is your missing dog, please contact the shelter at (541) 689-1503. Since this dog is new to the shelter and we are still looking for their family, they are not viewable on the adoption floor at this time. The shelter staff is giving me some time to settle in and adjust to this new place. As we get to know each other a little better, the behavior team and veterinary staff will then be evaluating my needs. Please stay tuned for my updated information! Our shelter software requires that we choose a primary breed for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs can be unreliable and for most dogs we are only guessing at their primary breed. We get to know each dog as an individual and do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not breed label. This pet is located at Greenhill Humane Society. 88530 Greenhill Road, Eugene, OR 97402 (541) 689-1503. See all of the pets at this shelter by visiting www.green-hill.org.
