Story
Meet Running Summer Lily!Running Summer Lily is a gentle, big-hearted girl with a soft soul and the sweetest eyes. She can be a little nervous when she’s faced with new situations, but give her a moment (and a kind voice), and her tender, loving nature shines through. This lovely lady would thrive in a calm, supportive home where she can grow confidence at her own pace. She just needs a patient human to show her the world is a safe place! She is open to meeting savvy kids who understand how to give her space and let her warm up slowly. Once she feels comfortable, she’s incredibly sweet and enjoys quiet companionship and cozy moments. If you are interested in adopting, stop by our shelter any day between 12-6:30pm. Please come prepared - bring a photo ID, proof of address, and everyone in the home including resident dogs with vaccination history._______________The Pennsylvania SPCA350 E Erie Ave., Philadelphia, PA 19134Kennel #3079

Story
I purchased Papi when he was 6 weeks old. Papi is a loyal 4 year old seeking a structured, low-pressure home. He lives in Burlington, NJ. He is up-to-date on vaccinations, is neutered and microchipped. He is on a monthly flea/tick preventative schedule. He is house trained and knows basic commands such as "sit, wait, come, paw." He is a fan of the quiet life, enjoys walks, lounging in the sun and sniffing the grass. While he enjoys affection, he does best with calm guidance. The ideal home is a quiet household (preferably no small children). He is sweet and playful and thrives in a steady, boring, happy home. He does well with people and he is social. He has stayed at kennels with other dogs while I'm on vacation. Historically, he has done well with children and allowed petting and gentle hugs. He does well being home alone for extended periods and he has never been destructive. He settles and sleeps while I'm away. I am a senior with limited current physical support.

Story
At 8 years old, King Shady is a big-hearted Mastiff mix looking for a calm, understanding forever home. He may be a senior, but he’s still full of life and has plenty of love to give. When it’s time for a walk, King Shady is eager to head out but settles nicely once he’s outside—he doesn’t pull on leash and enjoys lumbering along at his own pace. He’s social with people, calm and curious when meeting new friends, and enjoys gentle pets and attention. With his handlers, King Shady is affectionate—he’ll lean in for scratches, roll over for belly rubs, and happily soak up time spent together.King Shady will need a home where he is the only pet. He can be reactive when seeing other dogs and should not live with children due to his resource guarding behavior around food. His perfect match is an experienced adopter who understands his needs and can give him a safe, structured environment where he can relax and shine. While King Shady isn’t interested in toys, he’s more about the simple joys in life—steady walks, quiet companionship, and people who respect his boundaries. He has so much love to give to the right person who can see past his quirks and offer him the stable, loving home he deserves. If you have a soft spot for seniors and experience with large breed dogs, King Shady might just be the loyal companion you’ve been waiting for. ??To complete adoption questionnaire: https://hamiltonmcnj.seamlessdocs.com/f/AdoptionApplicationTo see other available animals: https://www.hamiltonnj.com/173/Pets-Available-for-AdoptionHamilton Township Animal Shelter cannot offer any guarantees on the age, health, temperament, personality or mental disposition of any pet.
