Despite everything he’s been through, Montgomery is the definition of a gentle giant. He’s calm, loving, and wonderfully easygoing. He’s open to meeting other dogs, can be kitty-tested upon request, and would do well in a home with children. His dream life is simple: some nice walks to stretch those big legs, and a warm, cozy bed to curl up in at the end of the day. After all he’s endured, he deserves every ounce of comfort and care. Arlo is good with people, and he is 6 years old. He can be aggressive with other animals though. Recently he had an incident with a cat he has lived with all of his life. I work 7am to 7pm on most days, and unfortunately he is the product of a divorce. Arlo needs more room to run, more attention, and it seems that he would be better in a single animal home, however he might just need a change. He is very loving (lots of kisses/licks). This is heart breaking but unfortunately it is unsustainable and not fair to him. I would love to find him a great home where he can be the awesome dog that I truly know he is.
