Story
PLEASE NOTE! Unless stated otherwise, our dogs and puppies are located in Arkansas, and transported to the north/northeast once adopted. We do occasionally have dogs/puppies placed in foster homes in the north/northeast. In the cases where the pet is somewhere other than Arkansas, it will be noted beside the name of the pet.Update 10/29/23 Still available! 8/14/23 Meet Chessie! This beautiful girl is hoping to find her family. While Chessie looks like a Mastiff, she is not mastiff sized! She’s about 60 pounds and about a year old. Her siblings look nothing like her. We don’t know their breed for sure, only having their looks to go by. Chessie is very sweet and loves people. She is good with other dogs, cats are unknown. She does tend to jump on people and for that reason may not be the best candidate for young kiddos. She wouldn’t hurt them on purpose but may knock them over. Chessie currently lives in an outdoor fenced area at her foster home simply for lack of space. Her foster mom spends lots of time with them, but wouldn’t it be nice for Chessie to find a nice warm couch to cuddle up on? Also, dogs thaf have lived most of their lives outside tend to be easier to house train because going outside is all they’ve known. Please share this beauty. Adoptions are SLOW but there are still so many dogs in need of rescue. Spayed, UTD on age appropriate vaccines, microchipped, and started on flea/tick and heartworm prevention. Located in Arkansas, but transport is available. Adopter must be able to pick up or arrange for someone to pick up for them at one of the following times/locations.
