Story
Meet Tuco, a gentle giant with a heart as big as his paws! This handsome Mastiff mix has already stolen the hearts of everyone at the shelter. Tuco`s story began when he was abandoned at our shelter after his own passed away, but despite his rocky start, he hasn’t let it dim his sweet and loving spirit.Tuco is a smart boy who knows a few commands like `sit` and is eager to please. Since arriving, he’s been co-housed with another dog—likely his longtime companion—and has shown he can do well with canine friends. With his calm nature and affectionate personality, Tuco is ready to find a family who will give him the love, security, and cozy naps he deserves. If you’ve been looking for a loyal best friend, Tuco might just be your paw-fect match! This pet is available at:BVSPCA - Lancaster2195 Lincoln Hwy ELancaster, PA 17602PA Kennel License #18767

Story
I am Xaria. I am 12 weeks old. I have a lot of love to give I love my walks and to play. I'm having some trouble getting into a everyday life with my home, My mom says that her Land Lord does not approve of my staying here, due to...I am having trouble with potty training, mom takes me outside to go, I like to play and stick my nose in the ground and sniff and lick everything, but forget to go to the bathroom... every time, and she takes me inside and I remember I have to go, so I go in her house. I ruined the hardwood floors and their carpet. Mom is on a medical leave for work, and she has been trying her hardest for me, but her landlord said no can do! Mom has to go back to work and is trying to get back on work schedule, but I like to get into everything and I always end up waking her up so she isn't getting the recovery she needs either. I need someone who has TIME AND PATIENCE! I really am a sweetheart, I just was t ment for THIS loving home.

Story
Freya is a sweet, gentle girl who just needed a little time to warm up, but once she did, her goofy, loving personality began to shine. Surrendered through no fault of her own, she’s now ready to start fresh with a family who will adore her. Freya is currently being treated for some skin issues and is healing wonderfully. She loves being with people and we know her personality will only continue to blossom in a home of her own.

Story
This is Buc, he is a mixed breed pup about 3 yrs old. His owner passed away and his wife was unable to keep him. Buc is up to date on vaccinations, fixed and house trained. He loves kids. He plays very well with other dogs. He loves being outside and has done very well with positive training so far. He is a very sweet boy with lots of kisses to give. Buc has lots of energy and is a little unaware of his actual size. He’s quite adorable. This good boy needs a place to call home! He would do well in a home with other large size dogs. NOT OKAY FOR HOUSEHOLDS WITH CATS OR OTHER SMALL ANIMALS. Please let us know if you are interested in Buc

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Fill out an Adoption Application HEADLINER: Izzabella aka Izzy. HISTORY: One owner who did not provide basic medical care so Izzy lived many year with out of control skin issues, ear infections, UTI’s, etc. PERSONALITY: Izzy is a sweet, friendly girl that loves meeting new people and welcoming them into the house. She loves attention and affection and will lean in hard for pets and ear scratches. She tends to spend her days snoozing away but when she gets the zoomies she takes them seriously and this girl can move despite her age.  She lives peacefully with a 60lb male mixed breed but is reactive when seeing dogs out on a walk. Izzy is a bit fearful of fireworks and thunderstorms and will sometimes get spooked by loud noises. Izzy likes things to happen on her own personal timeline and can be stubborn when they don’t. She will test limits by whining and carrying on (dancing around, stomping her feet, wagging her tail furiously while staring at you) to try to get her way. She’s learning that those things don’t work in our house but it’s hard not to laugh at her antics. She’ll do it to the other dog in the house too when he’s laying in a bed that she wants. She usually gets her way with the dog.  FAVORITE ACTIVITIES: Napping, soaking up love and attention, laying in the sun MEDICAL ISSUES: With vet care and a quality diet Izzy’s skin issues and ear infections have cleared up and she is no longer a big itchy mess. She did have a mammary tumor removed while being spayed. She is not currently on any medications. WHAT WOULD BE THE BEST KIND OF HOME: Izzy enjoys hanging out with her people, so a family that spends a lot of time around the house/yard/garden would be great for her. Once integrated with another dog she is very polite and respectful but she definitely needs slow introductions to new dogs.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Fill out an Adoption Application Zoey (fka Ruckus) came back to MTM after being adopted several years ago and her adopter recently passed away.    She is doing great in her foster home living with a toddler, 2 young kids and dogs of all sizes.   Zoey did take a bit to adjust. She is shy at first meeting, but once she settles in, she seeks attention and thrives off of routine. So if interested in meeting her, please understand, she does not show well, but given some time and patience, she will come around and show great affection.    She has begun to engage the other dogs in play and loves to spend time outside in the yard. She does well being left alone with the other dogs, with no concern of messes or destructive behavior.     She does pull on the leash and will need some help with that, but that too needs to be made part of her routine. Zoey is a low to medium energy dog and is content to just hang out. She will pick a favorite bed and that becomes her spot.    Zoey does well riding in the car, was well behaved at the vets office and doesn't mind a nail trim as long as shes being scratched at the same time.   She is potty trained and will go to the door or even come wake you if she needs to go out.    Zoey has been fully updated on vaccines and received a dental. She is ready for a new family! Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.
