Story
She loves kids, but has never met or spent time with babies though. Totally fine with cats and all kinds of little creatures. Good with all dogs, breed, size, etc. not all dogs appreciate her energy and size, so some personalities just don’t click. Tall and stout 95 lb baby with big personality. A velcro doggie who will always say yes to cuddles and no to sleeping anywhere but in bed with you. Food motivated, so very easy to train, just stubborn. Loves being outside, always, no matter what the weather is. Always full of energy and loves meeting new people, but is taking gabapentin as needed for the excitement and some anxiety. Loves car rides, to literally anywhere. Good with long and short trips. loves going to the vet, but hates the groomers. Best to trim her nails yourself lol. She is a true water baby. She loves taking a bath, playing in the rain, swimming in the lake, and has been to the beach.

Story
Hi, my name is Bambi, and I’ve been told I’m a strong little pup with a heart full of determination. I’ve been through a lot in my short life, but I don’t let it get me down—I love life too much!My front paws are a little different, and sometimes they buckle when I put weight on them. My back legs didn’t work at all when I was tiny, but now I’m building strength every day. Sometimes I can even stand tall on my back legs for a moment, and my foster mom cheers me on every time. The doctor says there are no limits to what I might accomplish—it’s all up to me!I don’t particularly enjoy my “bike pedaling” exercises (a puppy riding a bike—can you imagine?), but I do them because they help me grow stronger. In between workouts, I love tug-of-war, chewing on my ball, and being curious about the fluffy cats who live with me. I also adore kids and think they’re wonderful. At the end of the day, I like to snuggle close and drift off to sleep with my person nearby. I may move differently than other dogs, but I have the same love, joy, and spirit as any puppy—I just need someone special to believe in me.Could you be the one to cheer me on as I keep discovering all the amazing things I can do?I am a Priority Pet!Pawmetto Lifeline is offering FREE basic medical care for LIFE for Bambi-all included services listed below!Annual exam for life at Pawmetto LifelineCore Vaccines for life at Pawmetto LifelineFree annual HW test for life at Pawmetto LifelineCost of medications plus 10% (*doesn`t include HW/Flea prevention) from Pawmetto LifelineMy adoption fee includes up-to-date vaccinations, dewormer, and heartworm/flea prevention. Story
Adopt Emily! 🐾 Emily is a 3 y/o mastiff mix of medium build. She is lower energy and loves to cuddle. While Emily is dog social, she prefers laid back non playful dogs who meet her same energy. She was very undersocialized and it’s hard to say if she ever lived in a home prior to her foster home. She prefers a quiet home where she can feel safe and relax. She struggled with fear more in the beginning than now. She is being fostered by a professional dog trainer so she has come a long way. She did well with her housemate that recently passed away. That has caused her a little anxiety as she misses her very much. 😔 Emily came into Columbia Animal Services as a stray. She was terrified in her kennel and at risk of euthanasia, so the behavior specialist decided to take her home to foster. ♥️ Emily has been well mannered and polite in her foster home and has enjoyed lounging, eating, playing, and doing enrichment activities. Emily’s adoption comes with free behavior coaching services from Columbia K9 training and behavior! 👍 She is about 40 pounds, medium build, spayed, microchipped and fully vetted. She required eye surgery that was done and she has completely healed. She is the perfect lap dog.
