Story
Rahja has been with us for over a year (one year and 3 months). He is a sweet dog and has been extremely well house trained and can stay home several hours on his own without any problems. He is disciplined and follows direction with obedience. Our family has 3 children (ages 13, 8, and 5) and he is social and caring with them. By breed he is a protective dog and very loyal to the family. He attends daycare, boards, and gets baths regularly so he is socialized well. He weighs 150 lbs and is fairly full grown in length and height but will continue to add weight as he matures, likely will be 175-180 lbs at full maturity (3 years). We have a busy family where both parents travel regularly and kids activities constantly. Our home is 4000+ sq feet but our backyard is very small. He isn't an active dog by breed, fairly laid back and is resting 70% of the day. He would benefit from a home that could spend more time with him and give time and attention he deserves. Looking for a kind home.

Story
Bane is cat and dog friendly but does best with slow introductions, he is almost a year old and weighs about 100lbs. He loves to walk but can't go too far as he has a inflammatory disease that hurts his joints. He is a mastiff, German shepherd and pit mix.He is otherwise a great family dog and loves kids. Our adoption fees for cats range from $150-250. Our rescue covers food/litter, vet care, combo testing, vaccines, microchip and spay/neuter for all of our animals before they are adopted! Please visit our website at www.noahspaws.org for more information about our rescue and fill out the online application to apply for one of our beautiful babies! We serve an area within (around) a 2.5 hour radius of DFW but will consider adoptions outside of that range and do have the ability to fly animals to adopters at an additional fee. Adoptions are finalized upon home visit at the time of placement.

Story
Hey there, folks! I'm Nigel, the resident good boy at the shelter. I strut my stuff on a leash like a pro! I can't wait to wiggle my way into your heart and show you just how awesome life with me can be. Let's make some memories together!FOSTER TESTIMONIAL: "Nigel has settled in perfectly! It's like he's been here forever. He's already got a favorite spot on the sofa, and last night slept right in the middle of the bed, so we had a couple inches either side of him to sleep on!""Nigel is a beautiful dog. He's so low maintenance. He's not picky with his food. He doesn't need a lot of exercise. He's not a needy dog at all - he's just happy to lay on the couch, near his humans.""He's potty trained. We had a couple of little accidents over the first 2 days we had him, but we put that down to him being in a new environment, and not being familiar with the apartment etc. Since the 3rd day, he's been very good at telling us when he needs to go out. He sits in front of us, looks at us, and shakes his head! We know that when that happens, he needs to go for a walk outside."Come see me any day between 12PM-6PM at 2400 Lone Star Drive!
