Meet Bakugo This handsome, sweet-natured pup is full of charm and personality. Because of his size, he’d do best in a home without young children, small dogs, or cats. Bakugo is a sensitive soul who loves being close to his person and isn’t a fan of spending time in a crate—he’d much rather be your constant companion. He’s house-trained, vaccinated, and neutered, and is ready to bring love and loyalty to his forever home.

Story
Meet Huckleberry! A spirited two-and-a-half-year-old Mastiff/Labrador Retriever mix currently in Edmond, OK, whose essence is a whirlwind of joy wrapped in a sturdy white and gray frame and powered by endless enthusiasm. Huckleberry is a big-hearted, big-footed goofball who lives for fun, fresh air, and friends! We’re talking high-octane fetch sessions, tug-of-war tournaments, and “keep away” games that will keep you on your toes (and laughing out loud!). He’s also a big fan of car rides and pup cups, just say the word and he’s leaping in the back seat like a seasoned road tripper. People? He adores them! Kids over seven? Absolutely! He’s happiest when surrounded by love, play, and plenty of activity. At 60 pounds of pure lovable energy, Huckleberry thrives on structure and routine. He’s house and crate trained, knows commands like sit, heel, stay, and wait, and completed several weeks of training at K9 University. He’s a quick learner and will work for treats every time, though he may test your consistency now and then. Huckleberry is looking for a home where he can be the one and only furry companion. While he’s shared space with cats and dogs in the past, his playful energy and enthusiastic spirit are best suited to a home without other animals. His size and zest for life can unintentionally overwhelm smaller pets, and he truly shines when he has all the attention to himself. In a home where he doesn’t have to share the spotlight, Huckleberry thrives! Soaking up affection, engaging fully with his people, and offering his goofy charm in every moment. He’s a strong jumper, so a fenced yard is a must. He needs plenty of exercise and stimulation to keep his mind and muscles happy. Touching his paws makes him a bit uneasy, so patient, low-key vet visits are best. Are you ready to welcome a goofy, loyal, and utterly lovable companion into your life? Huckleberry is also open to a foster home, so if you're not ready to adopt but still want to make a difference, fostering could be a perfect fit. Reach out to adopt@joyfulpets.com to learn more!

Story
Cane is a 1-year-old neutered Mastiff mix with a handsome tan coat, a big goofy smile, and an even bigger heart. This young giant is full of energy, affection, and enthusiasm for life, and he`s ready to find a family that can keep up with his playful spirit.Cane loves people and isn`t shy about showing it. Whether he`s leaning against you for attention or greeting you with a wagging tail, this happy boy is always excited to make new friends. He may occasionally jump up when he`s especially excited, but with continued training and guidance, he`ll learn that four paws on the ground gets him just as much love. When it comes to other dogs, Cane is all about fun. He enjoys having canine companions to play with and would love a dog friend who can match his energy level. As always, meet and greets are required for any potential dog siblings to ensure everyone gets along.Cane enjoys getting out and exploring, but like many young, large-breed dogs, he can pull on the leash when something catches his attention. A harness and some continued leash work will help him become the perfect walking companion.Because of his size and active nature, Cane would thrive in a home with a yard where he can run, play, and burn off energy. He is looking for an active family that will include him in their daily adventures and provide the exercise, structure, and love he needs to be his best self.If you`re searching for a loyal, playful, larger-than-life companion who will keep you laughing and fill your home with love, Cane may be the perfect addition to your family.

Because every dog is different, meet and greets are required for any potential dog siblings.Luna enjoys going for walks and exploring the world around her, though she can pull on the leash when she gets excited. Story
Meet Canela â&#194&#128&#194&#147 Your New Best Friend! Hi there! My name is Canela, and I'm a lovable French Mastiff with a big heart and an even bigger love for cuddles (even though I'm a big girl at ~120 lbs!). I was rescued from DAS in January 2020, and my current family believes Iâ&#194&#128&#194&#153m about 7â&#194&#128&#194&#1478 years oldâ&#194&#128&#194&#148but donâ&#194&#128&#194&#153t let that fool you. Iâ&#194&#128&#194&#153m young at heart and still full of life! I adore being around people and thrive on companionship. Whether itâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s going for a walk, lounging around the house, or joining on car rides (my favorite!), Iâ&#194&#128&#194&#153m just happiest when Iâ&#194&#128&#194&#153m with my family. I'm not a fan of hot summer days, thoughâ&#194&#128&#194&#148give me a cool floor and a fan, and I'm golden. Iâ&#194&#128&#194&#153m potty trained and am trusted with free roam of the house. I know a few basic commandsâ&#194&#128&#194&#148okay, mostly just â&#194&#128&#194&#156sit,â&#194&#128&#194&#157 but I do it well! Iâ&#194&#128&#194&#153m spayed, so no puppies in my future, and I get along great with kids, seniors, other dogs, and even cats. Iâ&#194&#128&#194&#153m just that friendly. Some of my favorite things include: Soft jerky treats (beef, please!) PetSmart visits Riding in the car Dining at dog-friendly restaurants Cuddling on the couch Sadly, my dad is no longer able to care for me due to his health issues, and with a heavy heart, heâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s looking for a loving new home where Iâ&#194&#128&#194&#153ll be just as spoiled and cherished. If youâ&#194&#128&#194&#153re looking for a loyal, affectionate, and well-behaved companion, Iâ&#194&#128&#194&#153d love to meet you. Could I tag along on your next adventure? * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * If you have a specific question about Canela, then please email newdigs@dallaspetsalive.org.
