Story
Katie is a low-rider with a larger-than-life personality! This adorable, long-haired Dachshund mix was rescued from the euthanasia list at Rancho Cucamongo with a broken hip and 2 fractured legs, likely from being hit by a car. Fully recovered now, Katie's a happy-go-lucky girl who’s always on the move and ready for fun. She is packed with spunk, charm, and just the right amount of sass. Katie is great with kids and other dogs, and she absolutely lives for playtime. Her favorite game? Tug-of-war! She’ll race you to the toy bin, pick out her prize, and show off her skills with pride. She’s also a bit of a goofball who loves being the boss (in the cutest way possible), and she’ll keep you smiling with her hilarious antics and energetic spirit. If you’re looking for a sweet, funny, and endlessly entertaining companion, Katie is your girl. She’s spayed, micro-chipped, vaccinated and house trained (but will need some help in a new environment). Katie is currently being fostered in San Bernadino County, CA and must be picked up from there. For adoption information, please contact AlphaDogPetRescue@yahoo.com.

Story
Named after the iconic Furby toy, this sweet pup is lively, affectionate, and eager to find a family who will love and cherish him as he deserves! Furby came to Shelter Hope after his previous owners, who had surrendered several litters before, had yet another unwanted litter. All five puppies had been living outside, sharing the yard with pigs and covered in dirt. Shelter Hope took them in and immediately brought them into the safety of a loving foster home. This 3-month-old, 6 lb dachshund mix is full of energy and curiosity! Furby loves exploring, chasing toys, and zooming around with boundless enthusiasm. He’s great with kids, gets along well with dogs and cats, and always brings a playful spark wherever he goes. When he’s not busy being a little whirlwind, he’s happy to snuggle up for some cozy cuddle time. Furby is vaccinated, microchipped, and ready to find his forever home! More from his foster: Furby had a chip on his shoulder when he first came to us & when you would try to pet or even pick him up, he would give you a little “chomp.” We eventually wore down his chip & he has become a total love bug who plays from sun up, to sun down with a few naps in between. ------- Looking to Adopt?
