Honeybee is a 6-year-old, 8-pound chiweenie with a lust for life. He is an incredibly happy boy who loves to be in the mix. He adores children, cuddling, playing with toys in the backyard and climbing. His current foster situation has dogs of all sizes, and he enjoys them all! He was not house trained when he came into rescue and has made great strides. Now he loves to use the doggie door and is back and forth all day long looking for the best spots to snooze in the sun. Honeybee has been neutered, and is vaccinated. He is heart worm positive and being treated. He sure would love a family to appreciate his sweet demeanor and love of children!!! Story
Spots! Spots and more Spots!! When I first came to the animal control place, I was covered with spots! And to make matters worse, my 3 girl puppies were covered with spots too! I guess we all had the same thing, but I didn’t think that we were that scary that people wouldn’t want to touch us or anything! Then we came into the God’s Dogs and started getting treatment for ringworms, which isn’t’ really worms but a fungal infection on our skin due to our previously poor living conditions. We are still taking a pill and getting baths for our skin, but we shouldn’t be contagious anymore. So, we have been here for 3 weeks now, and our spots are getting smaller, and our hair is coming in nicely. We still don’t have a super full coat, but it is getting there, but what we lack in hair cover, we make up for in personality! I am Ariel, the mom to this little group of 3 girls. I am super friendly and get along with dogs, cats, kids, whoever you want to introduce me to. I am only about 10 pounds and won’t get any bigger at 2 years old. I am probably a dachshund chihuahua mix with a little puggy tail thrown in. I am bronzy brown in color, and would love to share your house, your bed and your heart. $200 In State Adoption Fee (in Texas) $400 Out of State Fee (includes Transportation to your area) $50 Temporary fuel surcharge.

These pups are in Cincinnati, Ohio too!

Please fill out an adoption application found at haydudeequine.org Sadie - You are the bridge between what was and what will be, my pathway to a new life! Hello all you fabulous people out there!! Let me introduce myself, my name is Sadie. I'm here looking for a home, a family, one to call my very own. And since you're reading this, I'm hoping that it means you might consider making me a part of yours!! I'm around 2 years old and am very loving, affectionate and ready for playtime. I am the best of both worlds, ready to be on the go but snuggled on the couch when we're done. I love to be on the go exploring this big ole world and would do best with a family that would want to include me in their activities and adventures, anything from the mundane daily to your weekend exciting. I come in at about 20ish lbs. A pawsomely perfect size for those long walks, nature hikes, camping trips and of course those belly rubs I absolutely adore getting. I have that innocent spirit that loves living life to the fullest, that energy that loves exploring the world around me and that playful demeanor that finds joy in everything!! Oh and guess what?! I'm already house AND crate trained! We can get right to the fun stuff...right away!! I am sooooo ready to start this next chapter in my life with lots of hugs, puppy kisses and playtime with my family!! I'm good with people both tall and small and other doggies! I would make a great playmate to either a 2 or 4 legged 'sibling' or a terrific sidekick as your one and only! I even do really well with the resident kitty. I am so looking forward to being your FBF (furry best friend), your constant in this world, your heart beat at your feet!! Story
Are you looking for a sassy and spunky best friend? Then I would like to introduce you to Tiny Tina! Tiny Tina is a 3-month-old, 6lbs, Dachshund Mix who would love to make your life so much more fun! Much like her namesake, Tiny Tina, known affectionately as 'Tiny', is an enthusiastic, loyal, and sassy little puppy. She doesn't get into much trouble, but when she does, and when her foster parents tell her 'no', Tiny will back talk! She is the definition of tiny and mighty! She will defend her siblings and stick up for herself at all times (despite being the smallest puppy in her litter). Don't let her sassy nature fool you though. Tiny is a super sweet puppy. She loves to cuddle and give out tiny kisses. When she isn't busy telling off the cats for trying to boink her sister's head, Tiny is also super playful. She loves to play with toys and other animals. She can be a bit mouthy when the toys are out, but with continued training, this behavior won't stick around long. She loves any toys, but specifically likes chew toys, balls that are meant for bigger dogs, and sticks. Tiny does well in a crate, but will likely need a soothing toy for a while. She currently enjoys a heartbeat soothing toy. As you can likely guess, Tiny and her siblings are not potty-trained, but they are really smart and will likely catch on quickly. They have responded well to pee-pads, and with the proper attention, they will be potty-trained in no time. If you are looking for a versatile and fun-loving puppy, then look no further! Apply for Tiny Tina today! Tiny is currently being fostered in the Cincinnati, OH area. Her adoption fee is $400.00. To adopt this animal, please visit https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt All of our animals come spayed or neutered, up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations, are microchipped, heartworm negative, current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, dewormed, and treated for any ailments found upon veterinary examination. The adoption fee covers a portion of these services and makes it possible for us to continue rescuing animals. For more information on the adoption fees and the adoption process, please complete our adoption application here: https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt - an application allows us to get to know your family better so we can assess whether the animal you are interested in is a good match for your home. An application does not obligate you to adopt. Please understand that due to the volume of applications some animals receive, we are unable to contact all applicants. If your application is considered a good fit for the animal you are interested in, or even a different pet, a volunteer will give you a call as soon as possible. We are a foster based rescue and do not have a shelter location where animals can be seen during the week. Please see our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/LouiesLegacy for our weekly adoption album if you are interested in meeting an animal in person. Not all animals attend every adoption event, please check our Facebook page for animal event times and locations before you make a trip to meet a specific animal.

Story
ACE is a lively little short stack looking for a home. He's a mixed breed boy, our best guess is some dachshund, some corgi and who knows what else? He's about 2 years old and fully grown at 23 pounds. Ace is a fun, silly boy who loves attention. He's energetic and playful and will need daily exercise -- runs, long walks or play sessions in the yard. Ace has a very strong prey drive -- no cats, bunnies, guinea pigs, lizards etc. for this guy. He will definitely keep a yard clear of critters. Ace would be fine as an only dog or with another dog his size or larger. Ace is an affectionate guy but he's too young and active to be satisfied with life as a lap dog. If you'd like to meet Ace, please fill out a dog adoption application at dreamhouserescue.org. We are happy to arrange a private meet with an approved adopter. You can meet Ace at our weekly adoption application Saturday noon-2 at PetSmart Eastgate. All of our fully-vetted adoptable dogs go to prospective homes for a one-week trial period to make sure the dog and home are the right fit before an adoption is finalized. We only adopt dogs into homes where all current pets are spayed/neutered and current on vaccines and heartworm and flea and tick prevention. We do check veterinary references to make sure adopters are compliant with standard veterinary care. Our adoptable dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm tested, dewormed and current on flea and tick and heartworm prevention.
