Story
Sweet little Bert and his siblings and mom were dumped in a downtown Phoenix neighborhood. With a lot of help from neighbors we were able to get them all together. Sweet and gentle…Bert would make a great family dog or a doggie companion. Bert is 5months old and weighs approximately 11lbs right now. Small dog with long legs that would make him a great dog for walking and hiking. Adoption fee is $250 which includes puppy and rabies shot, neuter, microchip and 30 days of free pet insurance. Text 480-718-1312 if you would like to meet Bert or his other siblings.May 26, 2024, 7:59 pm

Story
**courtesy post** Meet Semper Fi! This little girl comes from a family of military. Semper Fi is the Marine Corps motto, meaning “Always Faithful” 🫶 This is my grandmother’s little dog who passed away recently 💔 I was sooo worried for her because she was so depressed & wouldn’t make eye contact. She was obsessed with my grandma. Really, they were obsessed with each other almost to the point where it was unhealthy 😂 My grandma & I caught her in 2016. We found out she was pregnant & she had 2 beautiful babies that found homes quickly. I wanted to adopt her out too but my grandma had just put her other little dog down & she needed a dog for her soul. So she stayed. My grandma was SO scared of losing her - she never let her outside. She used pee pads. I know this might sound cruel but my grandma didn’t know any better and only wanted to protect this street dog. Can you imagine not going outside for 8 years? Can you imagine losing your mom & having your whole world flipped upside down? You can now understand why I was so worried for this little dog having to face such a huge transition. Since being with me for a few days now, she goes in / outside on her own & LOVES the sunshine and exploring - it’s so cute to watch her discover this new life. She is looking for a patient home that will understand they need to go slow and allow her time to adjust, thrive and blossom. Whoever adopts her will need a secure yard. Spayed, vaccinated & microchipped. Let us know if you're interested!

Story
Taco is a beautiful and fun little dog. He is very social and loves people of all ages from newborn babies to seniors. Taco is also social with other animals. He is 10 years old, but still has a lot of life and energy left in him. Due to my schedule and living arrangement, I am no longer able to keep him. I want to ensure that he goes to a good home where he will be enjoyed and well taken care of.

Story
Hello there! My name is Thunder, and have I got a special story to share with you. I came to Forever Loved along with my two furry roommates after our owner passed away. Although it was very sad to lose my owner, it turns out there is a silver lining to my story because I have received nothing but the best veterinary care, and have been so blessed to be in a loving foster home. Matter of fact, my furry foster brother has taken me under his wing and both foster and foster brother have shown me nothing but love and great care. By the way, I am a 12 year old 8lb Miniature Pinscher. Turns out, I have Valley Fever, and the vet discovered torn ACLs, luxating patellas, and a curvature in my spine. So with my orthopedic challenges, I can walk, but I prefer to just hang out with you or find a comfy bed to snuggle in to. Here’s the great news - I am so reliably house trained, I will hold it until I am outside, and all I need from you is for you to carry me out several times a day, and easy-peasy, I do my business and back in we go! I am very gentle and quiet, and when you come home after an absence, I will do a squeaky noise to show you how happy I am. I’d be great for an apartment or condo. Going on walks is not really a good thing for me but I will tell you, I love to be carried in a sling or even go out in a stroller. I am such a friendly and well-behaved guy! I love other dogs, all kinds of people, and you can even say I am sweetness personified. I will need the anti fungal med for a few more months, and a recheck of my blood to show that the Valley Fever is gone, but will need a pain medication for the ortho issues for the rest of my life. I feel so much better now that sometimes I even do “mini zoomies!” I just know you can see what a treasure I am from my photos, and I’m hoping you have a spot in your heart for a very special dog…
