Story
We adopted her from an animal shelter but it is not working out with our other dog. What we know about her is she was a stray her whole life. She is 3 years old and very skittish. She is a good dog just needs someone that is patient and has no other pets or someone who is experienced with working with her kind of needs. She downs her food since she is not used to having any, and is protective of people she trusts.

Story
Meet Peanut Peanut came to us from Yuma where he had earned quite a fan club. This very nice guy is estimated 9-10 years old and is 14/15 lbs. and stands 15" at the shoulder. Peanut is a laid back, mellow guy who is well behaved. He is not an excessive barker (except when crated) and has excellent house manners. Peanut has shown himself to be with good with people and other dogs. He is friendly but also enjoys time to himself. Peanut is well housebroken and has not had a single accident in his Tucson foster's home! Despite his long, lanky legs, Peanut is not a runner or a bolter. He walks nicely on a leash and looks forward to his leisurely walk around the block. Peanut had a dental while in rescue and has a nice set of teeth. He is also neutered, microchipped and current on vaccines and is healthy with no medications. Peanut is hard of hearing; he responds to a loud clap. For this reason thunder and other loud noises are probably not an issue with him. He has only mild vision issues. Peanut would be a great addition as a second (or third) dog to a household. The boy has learned to use the doggie door but he does not climb pet stairs and has little interest in getting up on the couch or the bed. He is most comfortable on the floor or ground where he enjoys his dog beds. He will typically nap the afternoon away. Peanut is not a lap dog,.and typical of his breed is fairly independent. He is mostly a quiet guy but occasionally he will talk to you (not bark) which may amuse you. Story
Our lovely bonded pair,    Pickles and Mia..    Meet this inseparable bonded pair! These two gorgeous souls are on a beautiful journey of learning how to love and be loved. They're ready to find out what truly makes you happy. While they haven't quite figured out the magic of toys yet, they are absolute pros when it comes to treats and, most importantly, butt scratches (their favorite!). You'll almost never see them apart—they're always snuggling, kissing, or curled up so tightly you can't tell where one starts and the other ends. Prepare for double the love!"   Pickles is a neutered male, 9 years old and approximately 5 lbs.  Mia is a spayed female, 9 years old and approximately 6 and 1/2 lbs.    Because they are small, they need to be supervised outside.   Both are up to date on vaccines and microchipped.   They are available for adoption in Tucson, Marana, Oro Valley, Sahuarita and Catalina only. Their adoption fee is $450, with an additional $21 each for PACC licensing.    *Applications to adopt: wwwTucsonColdWetNoses.com Home Visit / ID and Residence Verification is required.  Compliance does not imply or guarantee adoption.   Approval is the sole discretion of CWN representative(s).
