Meet Jenny, a loving little sweetheart who came to us from El Centro CA! She’s a 9-year-old Min Pin–Chihuahua mix weighing just 9.2 pounds, and she’s full of quiet strength and charm. In her foster home, Jenny has been an easy and wonderful pup. She gets along well with the dogs and cat, and she is house trained—a big bonus! She also uses the pet door reliably, showing how adaptable and smart she is. Jenny has settled in nicely to a routine and seems comfortable in a home environment. Jenny would make a lovely companion for someone looking for a small, sweet, and well-mannered dog who still has plenty of heart and personality to share. Jenny is also crate and leash trained and seems fine in the car. Jenny will be getting a dental with her spay surgery and is chipped and current on vaccines. We adopted her from an animal shelter but it is not working out with our other dog. What we know about her is she was a stray her whole life. She is 3 years old and very skittish. She is a good dog just needs someone that is patient and has no other pets or someone who is experienced with working with her kind of needs. She downs her food since she is not used to having any, and is protective of people she trusts.
