Story
We rescued Leo as a puppy from a horrible abuse situation about 9 years ago. Despite that he is very friendly and loving but can be protective over his bed, food and water at times. Leo will need a home without cats and preferably an owner that is not away for majority of the day. He is not potty trained but will use pee pads. He is very good with children, and gets along fine with dogs at the veterinarian. No other dogs currently in our house so unsure how he does with them in a home setting. He is calm and easygoing accept when he gets the zoomies. He likes short walks and sleeping in his bed, rather than playing for long periods outside. He does not have any chronic illnesses but is an old man.

Story
My stepdaughter got Rocky and was going to take him with her. However, she later decided she was not going to have time to take care of Rocky and left him with me. I already have a dog and a cat and can’t take care of another dog. Rocky is a 2 year old miniature pinscher that weights 20 lbs. I believe he might be mixed with Manchester terrier but his paper work only says miniature pinscher. Rocky is very sweet and energetic. He has gotten along great with both my dog and cat. He loves to be walked. Rocky will bark when he needs to go outside to do his business.

Story
This sweetie was born to a stray mama and was found by a good samaritan. He has a fun personality and would be good with any type of family. He loves people and gets along with other dogs. He has never been around cats so he would need to learn those manners. He is not housebroken and has not been on a leash. He is a wonderful little pup looking for his forever family.

Story
Hello everyone!   My name is Roscoe P. Coltrane and I am a truly special 11 years old senior guy that weighs about 16 pounds and they say I am a Min Pin mix.  I have had an interesting life but I won’t bore you with all the bounces that have led to me being profiled here on the rescue websites.  I just need a final and forever home that will be OK with my occasional leaks which are totally taken care of with a male belly band wrap.  But if you are home all the time and want to take me out every 2-3 hours then I am fine…..I just cannot hold it long. When you leave the house just crate me.   I am fine with that.  I am living in an medium to active home right now and I am doing great with all the people who come and go.  I really get excited when my people come home and they know that I love them.  But they are only foster people and they have promised me a forever place someday soon.  I will say I would prefer no small and young children in the house all the time.   They are just too nerve wracking for me.  I don’t ask for much really and there are no demands from me except to love me and speak kindly.  I really am a rare FIND and you will be very happy having me as your sidekick. I love to go for walks too and am terrific on a leash and meeting new people while on the walk.   Actually I can help you make new friends because I am so cute!!!   Do you have a little place for me to sit beside you and snuggle on these cold winter days and nights.  You won’t find a better boy than me!!!!   Write to Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com    PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.March 26, 2024, 11:20 pm

Story
Jimmy Chew, previously Tom, was adopted from us as a tiny puppy and returned now due to changes in the condo pet policy. Here is what the previous owner wrote: His personality is very playful and when he's done playing w his toys, he'll wanna cuddle up and go to sleep against your legs. He's not a barker and i'd say he's 99% -100% potty trained considering he hasn't had any accidents in my apt in the last month. He understands the commands "sit and "no and loves "good boy! hahah. He's about 5 months old and just lost the last of his baby teeth last week, so he loves his teething toys very much! I feed him everyday at 9am and 5pm (1 cup of dry food and I mix some wet food in as well). He grew up in nyc so he's very unbothered by noises and loves meeting new people on our walks. He loves people and other dogs, as he has many friends at the dog park. in all he really is the perfect dog Apply for Jimmy at allpawsondeck.org He now looks like a Rat Terrier mix and he is 30lbs OLD MEMO BELOW Tom is an 8 week old male, possible chihuahua/terrier mix.
