Story
Meet Reese 🍫🐾 If you have ever wished for a tiny dog who believes with his whole heart that he belongs directly in your lap, please allow us to introduce Reese. Reese is an approximately 2 year old Min Pin mix, about 14 pounds of pure affection. He is a former Dog Pound pup who is now ready to find his forever home and his forever lap. Reese is up to date on vaccinations, 4DX negative, and will be having his “Reese’s Puffs”; removed next week. After that, he will be officially cleared for adoption. He is dog friendly with careful introductions and seems to prefer other small dogs. To set him up for success, Reese should be fed separately from other dogs in the home. Fair enough, some of us take our snacks very seriously too. With people, Reese is an absolute love bug. He adores humans of all shapes and sizes and would happily spend his days being held, cuddled, and reminded that he is perfect. Personal space is optional in Reese’s world.

Story
Meet Diamond! Diamond is a 10-month-old Chihuahua mix with a heart as bright as the little diamond marking on her chest. This sweet, submissive girl is incredibly cuddly and would spend all day in your lap if she could. She settled in quickly at the rescue and showed right away how gentle, innocent, and people-loving she is. Diamond is wonderfully kid-friendly—she was comfortable interacting and playing with children from the very start, even trying to encourage them to join in her fun. She’s also been nothing but loving and polite with all the adults she’s met. This playful little pup would thrive with a toy box to rummage through, and she’d be delighted to have either a human or a dog companion to play with. Despite being young, she’s already potty trained and hasn’t had a single accident inside! If you’re looking for a sweet, affectionate, and outgoing companion who’s ready to give her whole heart, Diamond is your girl. ✨🐾 Application: https://adopt.animalsfirst.com/animal/62cc8e128b02916730334440/691100a186613b0e04000cbe Questions? Email Kathleen@threelittlepittiesrescue.org We facilitate adoptions across the US through our own internal transport to ensure the quality of care. We travel to WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT and Canada (Canadian adopters will need to pick up in Bellingham, WA  or Brattleboro, VT for the eastern Canadian border)! Our pups travel in comfort with 24/7 care on our USDA licensed vehicles, including buses and cargo vans. You can join along on our private Facebook event page to follow their adventure, connecting you with other adopters and providing updates throughout their transport journey!   You will get to meet your new pup over a video call before signing paperwork, creating a fun and personalized adoption experience!    The adoption fee is $1,200 and includes all vetting (DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, a 12 month heartworm preventative injectable, heartworm test and treatment if needed, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high quality nylon Martingale collar, a health certificate deeming the pup healthy for travel, cost of transport*, and priceless years of love and loyal companionship!    We have over 15,000 successful adoptions so far and have excellent Google Reviews: https://g.co/kgs/UQ5Pyai We care deeply about making the perfect match between dog and family for long term success.    Our rescue has a 2 acre property in Texas where we assess every animal with trainers on staff, we modify behavior as needed, and create individualized behavior plans to help prepare dogs for their future families including crate training, potty training, leash walking, etc. Our fosters are able to attend group trainings and socialization play groups to keep dogs adoption-ready. Our on-site trainers support the positive growth of our dogs and we enjoy seeing their progress!    Our commitment to comprehensive medical care sets us apart. We've received glowing feedback from veterinarians who commend our dedication to ensuring the health and well-being of every animal in our care with treatments that often go above and beyond.   Our adoption fees reflect the extensive care and resources that go into each animal we save. The adoption fee is a donation to the mission and goes far beyond getting a fully vetted pet.    The rescue’s hard costs alone (excluding transport) for a healthy dog to go through our program typically range between $412 to $859, which includes boarding, food, medications, vaccines, and spay/neuter. For heartworm-positive dogs, hard costs are upwards of $1,368. Additionally, dogs requiring extended boarding, extra training, or extra medical care—such as dental work, vision care, or orthopedic care—can lead to expenses running into the thousands. Also, included in the adoption fee are costs to cover transport up to the Pacific Northwest or East Coast. Transport is a significant additional expense to the rescue.  While adoption fees help cover part of these expenses, we want to emphasize that the rescue does not receive government funding and must fundraise to offset the remaining expense balance which ranges $100-1,000++ per animal on these direct costs.   It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these SPECIAL PERKS:   Extensive behavioral testing and information from trainers on our staff to ensure the perfect fit for your family  Discounts on Embark DNA test kit- $30 off of Breed ID test & $50 off of Breed ID plus Health test 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion A free private online dog training session with GoodPup, plus low pricing for future sessions  70% off of your first order of Fetch, a delicious PNW based fresh dog meatballs subscription Coupons for a fun visit to Petco 20% off of Dr. Cuddles pet first aid and hygiene solutions Discounted heartworm, flea prevention, and monthly dewormer  Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup!   Did you know that the Greater Houston area faces some of the highest stray and overpopulation rates in the nation? We are a non profit charity. Our goal is simple— to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and by rescuing animals from the streets or overcrowded shelters where euthanasia due to lack of space is often the only option. Meet Cain! Say hello to Cain, an adorable 2-month-old Chihuahua/Min Pin mix that’s 7 pounds with a big personality in a little package! Cain is a playful, curious pup who loves to spend his days romping around with his doggie friends. This sweet boy is ready to experience all the joys of growing up — car rides, walks, meeting new friends, and learning about the world. He loves people and makes instant friends wherever he goes! Cain is looking for a forever family who will help him learn, play, and grow into the amazing dog he’s meant to be. If you’re ready to fall in love, Cain is ready to meet you! Questions? Story
Gideon is a 6 year old neutered male who was found as a local stray. Friendly, energetic, and sweet, Gideon is a fun dog who enjoys going on walks and romping around in the yard. He loves a good blanket and sometimes scares the staff by snuggling so deep into a comforter that we don't realize he's there! Gideon has a food allergy and will need to be on a strictly fish-based diet, but he's not picky with his food and has been more than happy with the adjustment. He could live with a dog-savvy cat and is selective about other dogs, so he may do best with a canine companion content to leave him alone. For more information on Gideon, call AWS at 860-354-1350 email animalwelfare.socty@snet.net or visit our website aws-shelter.org for an application. Adoption Fees for Adult Dogs are $400

Story
**I am located in Georgia, but I can be transported north to you!** Name: Noah Breed: MinPin Sex/Age/Weight: Male/ estimated DOB 07/2025 /11 lbs Vetting: Fully vetted, heartworm negative, and microchipped. Is receiving flea/tick prevention and heartworm prevention monthly. House trained/Crate Trained: Noah is excellent in a crate. He has been with foster since 8 weeks old. He has not ever had an accident in his crate. He uses a doggy door and only has issues going out in heavy rain. Dogs/Cats/Children: Noah is living with dogs of all sizes and ages, and everyone is friendly. He has been around young children and does well. He is a jumper and we are working on that. Noah has not been observed around cats but can be tested upon request. Energy Level: Basically he has typical puppy energy. He loves toys and to play with others. Before FAR/My History: I was 1 of 2 puppies being given away at a flea market. This gentleman and his friend each took one of us. Only problem is the gentleman that took me could not have dogs. Through a friend he met my foster mom who fosters for FAR. She tells me all the time I hit the jackpot! Training Status/Commands I know: I know my name, and respond and come when called almost all the time. Learning what no means. I also am learning to share the toys. Working on: We are working on walking on a leash and being a good friend to all my friends. Things I like: Playing with any sort of toys! LOVES playing with other dogs. Things I don’t like: Going out to potty in storms or heavy rain. Things that make my humans happy: When I get a lot of playtime and I am all tuckered out, and snuggling with my foster mom! He seems to just love and want to be around people all the time! Ideal Family/Home: Noah is a very smart little guy, he picks up on things quickly. He is active and playful but sleeps well when everyone else naps. Sleeps in a crate and sleeps a good 7-8 hours nightly with no accidents. He would probably do great with any playmate. If you are interested in giving Noah a forever home, please visit the link below to fill out an application! http://fureverafterrescue.org/adoption-application.html It is best to submit an application through a computer.
