Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Hey I’m Chucky, I’m a 2.5 year old min pin. I am fully potty trained and will go outside every time. I’m okay with other dogs as long as I get slow introductions. I haven’t played with my foster dog siblings yet though. I would prefer to be the only dog or be with a dog who is chill and okay with just coexisting until I'm ready to be friends. I am totally fine with cats and won’t chase or bark at them. I just ignore them and hope they ignore me but if they want to cuddle a little bit I may give in to some kitty cuddles. I am scared of new people and am working on it but will bark at all new people and should be kenneled or kept on a short leash while new people are around or until I am comfortable with the new person I am meeting. I tend to do better meeting new people out of the home than in my home. I’m working on trusting people but right now I only trust my foster mom. I will take some time to learn to trust you but once I do we will be best friends and I will constantly want to be next to you. I was found as a stray and seem to have had a rough past. I came in with 3 broken ribs and a messed up trachea but with kennel rest I have healed and am ready for my forever person. I think I would do better with older kids or fewer people in the home. I am great in the car and also do great walking on a leash. However because of my previous Trachea issues a harness that doesn’t pull on my neck is better for me. I love cuddling with my foster mom. I still sleep in my kennel at night and do just fine being in there. I love chewing on bones and have just started to play with toys. Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, Alter, Prepaid microchip, Dewormed, Rabies vaccine (if age appropriate), Distemper combo vaccine(s) appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX (over 6 months of age), Flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee: $450.00 Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.September 25, 2023, 12:27 am

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Hello, my name is Cora. I’m a miniature pinscher born 8/27/2017. I came to Minnesota from Kentucky. I don’t mind being in Minnesota. There are a lot of blankets for me to hide under. When I first arrived, my foster family thought they lost me but I wast just comfy underneath a blanket. I am completely house trained and potty trained. I do go in my kennel when my foster family is not home but I have a blanket I can wrap myself up in. There are kids in my foster home and they’re all fine. I don’t mind them. Cats live in my foster home along with other dogs and I do fine with them as well. I’m a pretty easy girl. Give me a blanket or even crawl in cat bed and I’m in heaven! I am a pretty low key girl and am not much for playing. I just nap by my people under a blanket. I’m pretty good at riding in the car. I will just sit in my seat. I have a fairly low energy level. I just enjoy sitting on the couch and being under blankets.   Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, Alter, Prepaid microchip, Dewormed, Rabies vaccine (if age appropriate), Distemper combo vaccine(s) appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX (over 6 months of age), Flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. Story
Meet Cleopatra! She's shy and submissive, but SO friendly after she has a minute to warm up. She absolutely loves people and loves attention. Her whole body wiggles when she sees you. She's fantastic with other dogs too! Cleopatra is about 2 years old and weighs 16 pounds. She was found stray, and doesn't have a mean bone in her body. She's a complete sweetheart!IMPORTANT: Please read all below, especially if you live outside of Texas, which is where our rescue is located.Apply to adopt on our website: https://www.charmingpetrescue.org/adoptAll of our animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on shots.ALL of our animals are located in Boerne, TX, but transport after adoption is available to other states for a $300 fee for dogs or an additional fee varying by location for cats. If you are seeing our pets posted in your state, that's because you live near a transport stop, they are not currently at that location. Petfinder lists our pets as ''Out of Town'' pets at other locations, and Adopt-a-Pet lists our location as a Transport stop. Those are currently the only options they offer to make this clear, so we put this description we've put at the bottom to explain it. You can read more about transport here: www.charmingpetrescue.org/transportWe understand transport is not an option for everyone, but we offer it at the cost we pay the transport company for those who wish to adopt from us.September 24, 2023, 9:25 pm

Puma is a sweet, well-mannered dog! He is great on a leash and loves walks. He is gentle and would do great in a calmer household where is humans love to relax and take life slow. He does have some vision impairment because of age but it doesn't slow him down. Name: Puma Age: 13 Sex: Male Spayed/Neutered: Neutered Breed: Presumed to be a Min Pin Potty-Trained: Yes! Crate-Trained: No Dog-Friendly: Yes Cat-Friendly: Yes Kid-Friendly: we believe so, as grandchildren visited from time to time. Adoption fee: $275 As a rescue, we provide the care, procedures and testing that is available to us.      Adopters will be responsible for continued preventatives, follow-up appointments, and medications (if applicable). At times, adopters will be responsible for procedures not completed in rescue (dentals, bloodwork, etc.) Your new dog will receive their rabies and distemper vaccine and if able, a microchip. $50 discount for seniors (65+) and veterans. Adoption fees help pay for the dog's veterinary exam, vaccinations (rabies and distemper) HW test, a microchip, and spay/neuter if needed and additional health needs specific to each animal.  Grey Face Rescue does not adopt outside of Minnesota for now. We apologize for the inconvenience. We do not adopt animals to families whose current pets are not up-to-date on vaccinations or not altered. Exceptions may be made for medical reasons as stated by a veterinarian and we will require proof of that recommendation. Thank you for understanding our mission to reduce overpopulation. Once you submit your application, our adoption manager will be in touch, so please check your spam folder if you do not see something from us within 7-10 days. Thank you again for your interest in a Grey Face senior. We appreciate your support!  September 24, 2023, 12:10 pm

Story
Hi my name is Iris and I was surrendered to a shelter in TX. I have glaucoma which requires daily 1 eye medication that we suspect will be lifelong, that is about $20 per month. I am a confident gal that loves to be with her people and enjoy some sunshine outside. From her foster: Iris is a calm, quiet little girl who is as sweet as can be! She is blind but navigates around really well. She surprised me by jumping up on the ottoman the day she arrived. It doesn't matter if the dog beds are moved, she finds them and quickly settles in for a snooze. She has no trouble at all jumping up on the couch. Her ears perk up and her head tilts when she hears her name and she'll walk towards you. She is potty trained, her signal is she goes to the door - so you have to be on your toes to see she is at the door and wants to go out. She will run to the door if you ask if she wants to go outside. Her favorite pastime is to lay in the warm sun! I think this little girl is going to need a bed in front of the fireplace for Minnesota winters! She loves her 'ducky'. Look out when she is playing with ducky! Ducky has been successfully de-squeaked but still crunches. At night Iris sleeps in her crate, you also may find her snoozing in her crate at various times during the day, she loves her crate. Crate trained, house trained, low energy, lap pet, good with dogs Iris will have a dental, which I am sure will make her much more comfortable aaaaand have MUCH better breath! If you are looking for a calm, sweet little pup, look no further than Iris! Medical Bio: Throughout my medical care, it was discovered that I have Glaucoma and complete cataracts that are currently well-controlled on medication. I have an upcoming dental procedure where I will likely have full mouth extractions. If I am adopted prior to my dental procedure, SHH will cover the dental as long as it occurs at the SHH Vet Center.
