Story
Hello everyone!   My name is Roscoe P. Coltrane and I am a truly special 11 years old senior guy that weighs about 16 pounds and they say I am a Min Pin mix.  I have had an interesting life but I won’t bore you with all the bounces that have led to me being profiled here on the rescue websites.  I just need a final and forever home that will be OK with my occasional leaks which are totally taken care of with a male belly band wrap.  But if you are home all the time and want to take me out every 2-3 hours then I am fine…..I just cannot hold it long. When you leave the house just crate me.   I am fine with that.  I am living in an medium to active home right now and I am doing great with all the people who come and go.  I really get excited when my people come home and they know that I love them.  But they are only foster people and they have promised me a forever place someday soon.  I will say I would prefer no small and young children in the house all the time.   They are just too nerve wracking for me.  I don’t ask for much really and there are no demands from me except to love me and speak kindly.  I really am a rare FIND and you will be very happy having me as your sidekick. I love to go for walks too and am terrific on a leash and meeting new people while on the walk.   Actually I can help you make new friends because I am so cute!!!   Do you have a little place for me to sit beside you and snuggle on these cold winter days and nights.  You won’t find a better boy than me!!!!   Write to Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com    PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.March 26, 2024, 11:20 pm

Story
Meet Zoom Zoom! One of the 180 animal rescued from the recent rescue turned hoarding situation in Brick, she was one of the most terrified and defensive of the dogs rescued and took a long time to warm up. She got the nickname by the shelter volunteers who cared for her lovingly for the past month since her rescue, because while she was too scared to walk on a leash, once she got comfortable she loved doing zoomies around the play yards enjoying her newfound freedom! She loves to play with toys and is a high energy little terrier personality, very lovable once she picks her people and bonds. Please submit an application to meet her. She's about 22lbs and we think about 1-2 years old. She's likely spent her whole puppyhood stacked in a crate in the house of horrors, and will need some extra Tlc and patience getting used to a real home for the first time. Primary Color: Brindle Secondary Color: Black Age: 3yrs 2mths 0wks

Story
Hello My name is Cricket and my estimated age is one to two years old. My story starts being dumped in a very rural wooded area on one of the coldest nights of the year. We wondered up to a farm and the people took us in until the rescue could pick us up. I am only 10 pounds but have very long legs. I could be a min pin mix. Since we were dumped nobody knows my family history. My foster mom says I can prance with my long legs. I am tough for a 10 pounder. I will play wrestle with the big dogs in the house. I can jump like a cricket. I can get on furniture , jump over a baby gate and straight up on the bed of the pickup. I will sleep in a crate , dog bed or in the big bed with you. I am learning how yummy fresh vegies like carrots taste. I will chase a ball or play with a squeaky toy. Not only am I something to love , but I am also built in entertainment guaranteed to make you laugh. You will have to have patience on the whole “potty” thing with me. I like the doggie door idea ,especially when it warms up. I am learning to use puppy pads at night but still get so excited and forget and potty on the floor. I am getting better by the day! I was spayed last week , microchipped, had all my vaccinations and tested negative for heartworms. If you need a little fun in your life with 4 legs , I am your girl! My adoption fee covers a health certificate to travel and the transport cost from Tennessee.

Story
Hey there! My name is Fred! I'm 5 years old and like to run and play just like my younger friends. The staff says I have a lot of personality and I can give funny looks because I'm missing a few teeth. I think missing them is one of my best qualities, and what makes me super cute. I'm only 32 lbs and have so much love in a small package. Oh, and I absolutely love toys, especially soft ones. I would really like a home to settle down and be comfortable in. If you'd like to be my happily ever after, please complete an application for Fred GCH at EHRdogs.orgMarch 27, 2024, 12:43 pm
