Story
Please contact Glenda (fairydogmother@gmail.com) for more information about this pet.Bonnie is a one year old scruffy, wirehaired Labradoodle.  She and her brother, Boone, were dumped by their breeder because their coats are scruffy, not curly.  First, let me say these kids can be adopted together or not.  They are perfectly fine without the other.  Bonnie and Boone are beautiful, intelligent dogs.  They listen well and will be easily trained to do whatever their adopters wish.  They transferred from the rescue that actually saved their lives. They are friendly, playful and do well with other dogs.  I believe they would also be good with cats.  They have been waiting for the money to come in so they could be spayed, neutered and posted for adoption.  They are healed from their spay/neuter surgeries, vaccinated, heartworm negative and on monthly heartworm and flea preventives.  They are ready for their forever home(s).  The adoption fee is a tax deductible donation to the rescue in the amount of $600 for one or twice that for both.  These kids' adoption fees are required to pay vet bills and feed rescue dogs. February 11, 2026, 6:20 pm

Story
Cilantro was one of the most badly matted dogs we have ever taken into rescue. He was found roaming the streets and was in sorry shape, indeed! Along with the matting of his coat, our vet discovered that he had a major hernia, which was immediately removed. A Doodle mix, he is about 2 years old and weighs 53 pounds. Now he's a happy, happy boy who is super sweet, a real cuddle bug who loves toys and going on walks. In fact, he's a real social butterfly! You can read more about Cilandro's story here: https://www.crossingpathsanimalrescue.org/rescue-stories/mom-knows-best (posted 11/21/25, ME) Adoption Fee: $395.00-- covers microchip, worming, all vaccines, monthly heart worm preventative, monthly tick/flea preventative, spaying/neutering, health certificate, and complete medical records. Transport Fee: $160.00-- We consider the transport to be of great importance and, as such, take particular care of the dogs during the trip. We make every effort to arrive with healthy and minimally stressed dogs. **It is rare that we know with certainty the ages or mixes that make up our dogs, but we do our best to be as accurate as possible based upon our experience. **February 10, 2026, 11:33 am
