Kody was found as a stray and taken to the county shelter. Where he went unclaimed. Hard to believe, right? So we scooped this darling boy up. He’s been nothing but, super sweet with us. And such a fun pup too. He loves to play and is happy to be with his doggy friends. He is a little guy that’s approx 8lbs soaking wet. Soft wavy coat that’s easy to brush and he seems to enjoy it too. Such a love. He would like nothing more than to curl up on the couch with you for a cuddle. Or take a nice leisurely stroll around the neighborhood. Kody is looking for a family that wants a shadow following them around. He loves being next to you and will always be happy to be by your side. All of our dogs are required to be spayed/neutered as part of their adoption package. Plus vaccinated against Parvo/distemper/rabies, microchipped, tested for heartworms, and given flea/tick preventative. We are a force free/positive based training only organization. We do not permit our dogs to be hurt in any way for any reason. Let alone in the name of training. If you do not agree with this, that is fine. Just choose another rescue to work with please.

Sadie is a 5 month old poodle mix that is full of personality! Just a darling little girl. She’s approx 10 lbs. a dainty little thing that will bring so much joy to her family. She is very cuddly and sweet. Loves to run and play. Great puppy energy. And she’s been wonderful with her foster families dogs both large and small. We are looking for a family with children that are old enough not to be bothered by puppy nibbles while she learns what’s appropriate. She’s learning doggy manners everyday but, she’s still a baby and needs gentle reminders. Sadie will be a wonderful addition to the right family. A family that teaches rather than punishes, and one that likes to get out and about with their dogs. Walks are so enriching. She will also need a family that likes to brush their dogs coat. Poodles can get very matted if their fur gets wet before being properly brushed out. A professional pet stylist is recommended to keep her looking like the cutie pie she is. All of our dogs must be spayed/neutered, vaccinated against Parvo/distemper/rabies, tested for heartworms , microchipped, dewormed, and given flea/tick preventative.

Hello, I have had Bella for 7 years now. She was given to me by a friend when Bella was about 2 months old. Bella was found in the trash can with one of her sisters, and so my friend rescued her and gave her to me as a present. Bella has a 4 year old daughter that she is very attached to, and I would love to rehome them together. I don't think I can rehome them separately. The reason I would like to rehome Bella and her daughter is because I recently moved in a house with my partner who also has two dogs. We only have 2 dogs on the lease and there are 4 dogs currently living in our rented home. My dogs are calm, sweet and listen very well her dogs are the complete opposite. It has been really hard having all 4 dogs in such a small space and it would be harder for us to get her 2 dogs adopted than my 2 dogs. My dogs love to love and to be loved. They are playful when it's time to play, but they can also be lap dogs. They can relax and be lazy or be outside exploring.

Kobe is a longtimer in our rescue, and we couldn't tell you why?! We rescued him from a pretty terrible situation 3 years ago. He lived on a 25lb chain, outside, in the Arizona climate for his entire life. He's one of the sweetest and most affectionate, snuggly dogs in our rescue! He's good with dogs and people. Does well on a leash and is great in public! He's a small 20lbs, light enough to carry around like a koala bear! He does great with other dogs. He has been a resource guarder in the past, but we have worked through the vast majority of that habit. It most commonly involved him grabbing something hanging off the counter, or snatching something out of the trash, only lashing out if you went to physically pull him away from the object. He would snap but never would break the skin. It's only enough to give someone a little scare. It's a seamless process for us, however, his adopter will need to be willing to learn the protocols we use to keep everyone safe! We do not adopt any of our dogs out to people with young children (under 15), for the safety of our dogs. Not good with cats.
