Story
** Arizona Only ** Phoenix Metro Area * * Available as a PAIR only as they do love and rely on each other* * Fefe and Freddy were rescued from a very bad backyard situation -- living outside in heat, rain, mud, and without human companionship. Since in foster care, they've learned that other dogs are fun, people can be nice, toys are pretty cool, and that soft beds inside a loving home are truly incredible. Because of their previous lack of socialization, Fefe is very shy. It takes time for her to warm up to new people so her new home should be child-free, and shouldn't be overly hectic. Other dogs are likely not a problem (we always do a meet & greet to confirm). She is about 8 years old and a cute little poodle/terrier mix. Freddy came through with his socialization just fine somehow. He loves meeting new people and is Mr. Congenial. It appears, however, that at some point in his life, he had distemper and survived. He's doing really great (at 12 years old), but walks with his own style ... a wobble here, a tile there, but uses the effective "Freddy-Frolic" to get himself across the yard. He is loving life in his new plush yard with fake turf (and shade), and is learning that he too can play with toys. We're not sure of his mix, but he's handsome and soft and has so much love to give. This darling pair absolutely must have their own easy-on-the-feet yard. They are not candidates for apartments or dog parks, and not ideal for going on walks either due to Fefe's fear and Freddy's unique walk. They just want a loving home and their own small paradise in the backyard. Both dogs have been fully health-checked and necessary vetting has been done. We're happy to set up a meet & greet upon approved application. Please email to request one.

Story
** ARIZONA ONLY ** PHOENIX METRO AREA ** Puppy Bruno would like another fur-playpal in the home. He was born 12-26-23. His mama was a white bichon poodle about 17 pounds. We don't know who the papa was but we are guessing, MAYBE a small lab, or maybe a beagle? We just don't know. Full grown, we are estimating Bruno might end up in the 18-30 pound range. He prefers a yard with grass or turf. Any children in the home must be at least 12 years old and of a significant kind, gentle, responsible, and respectful nature. We can set up a meet & greet upon approved application. Please email to request one.

Please contact Constance (connibouchard@gmail.com) for more information about this pet.Rescued dogBiography Important Information Please read! If you are interested in me after reading about me, please visit my site, http://www.breederadoptions.org and follow the instructions. The majority of the dogs we rescue, mostly breeder dogs, have lived their entire lives in less-than-ideal conditions so will need to be socialized, house and leash trained. Most have never lived in a house, walked on a leash, had a treat or sat in a lap. For many of them, their feet have never touched the ground after living for years on wire until they arrive at our main facility where they are evaluated, groomed and given vet care. Most of these dogs are not socialized and need to be cornered to be picked up, so are not suitable for people with physical disabilities or suffer from PTSD. They need folks who will make them the center of their world and help them learn to trust before even attempting to train.  Please do not apply if you do not meet the requirements of the dogs we rescue.  However, they will learn with time, love, patience and most of all, commitment. You must have an ample supply of all of these to reap the rewards of watching these very special dogs become your wonderful companion. We state any known health issues, all are altered unless there is a medical reason not to, which we will advise, any known medical issues addressed, are microchipped, are UTD on all vaccines and have been checked out by at least one veterinarian, usually two. We do not guarantee the health of any of our rescued dogs. The dogs we rescue have lived with other dogs all of their lives and most get along with other dogs. We state if they are dog aggressive. We require a permanent, full-time parent. That means you must be able to spend the majority of your time with your new companion to socialize and train. We do not, under any circumstances, place them in homes with young children as they have not been exposed to children and we do not know how they will react. Hi! My name is Spiderman, and I am a beautiful Poodle boy who Is 4 years old, and I weigh11 pounds. I need a quiet home with a sibling my size to teach me all about this big new world. If you have been waiting for a little Poodle boy, please ask for me on your application to http://www.breederadoptions.org. Love, Spiderman 041523-30  April 15, 2024, 3:33 pm
