Thanks to all their efforts and insistence, I was purchased from that family and finally sabed from that wretched existence.Since then, I have proven to be a polite, loving, and well-behaved boy with no behavioral issues. My name Xiaoman means grain buds? Cute hunh? It is a Chinese term used during Summertime. Hence the name Cereal.A person who lives in the neighborhood of where we were found as strays saw us. Over the past four years, we were witnessed living together, relying on occasional leftover food from neighbors. This person always felt sorry for us, but lacked the means, ability, and courage to rescue us, all the while feeling guilty and helpless. Earlier this year, this lovely person noticed our condition deteriorating. We were navigating busy streets, scavenging from trash cans, and drinking dirty water mixed with food scraps and garbage. Our fur started getting matted and falling out, and my pal Lixia developed a bloody eye growth.Determined to save us, our overseeing angel posted our situation on social media. A rescuer  saw the plea and decided to help rescue us. We were transported to a nearby hospital for checkups and treatment. We were both severely malnourished and had poor coat conditions. We were properly treated and Lixia underwent surgery for his eye problem. After treatment, we were discharged. Now our rescuer has taken us back to her town for foster care, until we can find a home together. I have been shaved down to treat my skin and remove all the mats. No worries, it will grow back for new photos later.My most recent vet visit, confirmed my good health. My dental health is generally good with a pending detailed exam upcoming.I tend toward the affectionate, but can be a little clingy, as I show slight separation anxiety. This should resolve in time with a little consistent work. I'm an obedient little boy, who will happily take cues on what you want. Now that I've been getting socialized, I have improved significantly on my housetraining skills.My friend Lixia and I must be adopted together, as we are pretty bonded after surviving the streets together. We would likely adapt to most any home. We get along with other dogs, though we haven't been introduced to cats. 💙 Meet Miso! She’s a gentle, shy, and sweet girl who is slowly learning that the world can be a safe place. ✅ Currently in South Korea 💜 Available to fly to YVR 💙 Name: Miso 💙 Gender: Female 💙 Age: Estimated 4 years old (Born in October 2021) 💙 Weight: 8.4 kg / 18.5 lb 💙 Adogs News Account: @_adogs_ 1⃣ Health Condition 🙏 Her skin condition is not contagious to humans or other dogs. She has fully recovered but needs care to help her fur grow back. 🙏 * Not spayed yet. * Microchipped, and getting treatment for heartworms, anaplasma, and giardia. * Her bedsores were severe at the time of the rescue and has now all recovered. It is enough to have medicated bath about every two weeks. 2⃣ Rescue Story * Miso was saved with two puppies from an animal hoarder in the Gimje area and then brought to the Gimje City Shelter. She had already developed severe bedsores, but did not get appropriate treatment there. As less care was expected especially during the week-long Chuseok holiday, Adogs rushed to the rescue of Miso, thinking that she couldn't wait further. One of her puppies passed away, but #AdogsChapssal has met a lifelong family. Currently, Miso is waiting for her own family at our center. 3⃣ Basic Information * With People: Is a bit shy to new people, but it doesn't take long to get close to them! Approaches familiar people first with her tail wagging, and accepts their petting well. * With Dogs: Is not very interested in other dogs at our center, and tends to be unmindful of them. * With Cats: Her reaction has not confirmed yet because she hasn't met them. * Separation Anxiety: Not confirmed because she currently lives in a group at our center. * Potty Training: Not confirmed because she currently lives at our center. May need to be trained from scratch when she starts a life with family. * Hygiene: Had experience to get her toenails trimmed at the vet clinic. Seemed to be uncomfortable in the beginning, but went through without big fuss during the nail trimming. * Walks: Hasn't had a walk yet because she is on treatment for heartworms. * Car Sickness: Showed no motion sickness when moved to the vet clinic after the rescue. * Is wary but has never bitten, even though she is scared or hateful. * Likes treats so much that it's easy to get close to her! * Is wary when people suddenly approach or try to hug her. Feels uncomfortable when they try to force her to do something.

Warms up quickly even to strangers, showing her affectionate nature. Even with strangers, she likes to be held. Rubs her body against you and wags her tail, asking to be petted! * With Dogs: Shows interest and positive reactions towards dogs she meets for the first time.Stops and stares when she meets another dog on walks. * Separation Anxiety: When home alone with #AdogsNoah, she rests and waits well. When Noah is also out, she barks and scratches at the door, showing signs of separation anxiety. * Potty Training: Is so smart that she uses pads very well. Prefers to go outdoor for poop. Doesn’t mark indoors. * Hygiene: Calmly accepts bathing, drying, and brushing. * Walks: Walks very well without pulling on the leash. Occasionally has interest in other animals and wants to approach them. * Biting: None at all! * Barking: Barks briefly when a stranger comes in the home but quiets down quickly. * Likes: Likes human touch and attention, as well as other dogs! * Dislikes: Gets jealous if you’re overly affectionate with other dogs in front of her, since she loves attention so much.
