Story
PLEASE READ THE ANIMAL’S PROFILE AND ALL NOTES BELOW BEFORE APPLYING! Hi sweet friends… I’m **Tweety** 💛 I’m a 14-year-old Miniature Poodle, and I’m looking for a very special hospice home to spend my golden days wrapped in love. Let me tell you the most important thing about me: I am a Velcro girl. Wherever you are… I am right there. If you sit down, I’ll be in your lap. If you walk outside, I’ll follow you around just to keep you company. If you go to bed, I’ll happily tuck myself under the covers beside you — a spot I’ve absolutely earned at this stage of life. I just love being close to my person. I’m potty trained, leash trained, and house trained. I’m quiet, easy, and respectful in the home. I get along with other dogs (big and small), cats, kittens, and I’m friendly with people — but truthfully? I don’t need a crowd. I’d prefer a small, calm home with one to three people and **no kids**, please. I’m a gentle, submissive little lady who just wants peace and steady companionship. Even at 14, I’m still mobile! I have great eyesight, no arthritis, and I enjoy short walks and time outside. A small fenced yard would be perfect for me to safely explore, but I don’t need anything fancy. Just you. I will say… when I wake up and realize I’m alone, I get a little panicky. I don’t like feeling left behind. That’s why my dream home would be with a retired person or someone who is home most of the time. I’ve given a lifetime of love — now I just want someone who has time to share theirs with me. As for training? Oh no, sweetheart. This senior lady is not planning on learning anything new. I am perfectly content just being exactly who I am. If you’re looking for an easy, loyal, loving companion to keep you company through quiet mornings, afternoon naps, and cozy nights… I’m your girl. I don’t need much time — I just need the right person to spend it with. Love always, Tweety 🐾💛 A word from her foster: “Tweety has great eyesight and not even a bit of arthritis! She’s a total love bug who sleeps under the covers with me at night—and quite frankly, at her age and with her history, that spot is well earned. She is such an easy pup to have around.” If you’re looking for a devoted little shadow who will love you endlessly and make every day cozier, Tweety is ready to claim her spot by your side—and under the covers. 🐾💖 Adoption FEE: $150 which includes her spay, microchip, and vaccines. It is also a donation to go directly back to us to help us continue to rescue more animals. A Mercy Full Project (MFP) Adoption Application MUST BE COMPLETED in order for you to be considered as a potential adopter. By filling out the MFP Adoption Application you agree and understand that ADOPTION IS NOT GUARANTEED. We are not first come, first served and submitting an application does NOT guarantee adoption. You will be contacted by an Adoption Coordinator once your application has gone through the approval process. Please ONLY APPLY IF you are ready to commit to adoption. Story
🧡 Meet Lucy – A Tender-Hearted Survivor Looking for Love 🧡 Lucy is a 3-year-old spayed female who was rescued from a severe hoarding situation along with over 30 other dogs. She's gentle, quiet, and incredibly resilient despite everything she’s been through. This sweet girl is not leash-trained yet, but she is pad trained and very gentle when hand-fed. She's learning to eat from a bowl and starting to explore life outside her comfort zone. Lucy enjoys being held and seems to find comfort in gentle lap time and petting — her favorite spot is a soft dog bed in a quiet corner. Lucy is not aggressive and has never growled or snapped, even under stress. She’s shy and will need someone with patience and experience with unsocialized or hoarded dogs to help her continue her journey to healing. What Lucy Needs in a Home: A calm, quiet household (no young children, please) A fenced yard with a smaller, secure potty area Another kind and confident dog to help her learn the ropes A person or family with patience, love, and a gentle routine Lucy is currently being housed with her friend Ethel, and they have begun to be separated to encourage independence. This is a special girl who didn’t ask for the circumstances she came from — but she deserves the very best going forward. If you’re ready to open your heart to a dog who will reward your patience with quiet loyalty and love, Lucy is ready to begin her new chapter. 📍 Located in Bradenton, FL 📩 Apply to adopt at ewenityfarmsbch.com
