Story
🧡 Meet Lucy – A Tender-Hearted Survivor Looking for Love 🧡 Lucy is a 3-year-old spayed female who was rescued from a severe hoarding situation along with over 30 other dogs. She's gentle, quiet, and incredibly resilient despite everything she’s been through. This sweet girl is not leash-trained yet, but she is pad trained and very gentle when hand-fed. She's learning to eat from a bowl and starting to explore life outside her comfort zone. Lucy enjoys being held and seems to find comfort in gentle lap time and petting — her favorite spot is a soft dog bed in a quiet corner. Lucy is not aggressive and has never growled or snapped, even under stress. She’s shy and will need someone with patience and experience with unsocialized or hoarded dogs to help her continue her journey to healing. What Lucy Needs in a Home: A calm, quiet household (no young children, please) A fenced yard with a smaller, secure potty area Another kind and confident dog to help her learn the ropes A person or family with patience, love, and a gentle routine Lucy is currently being housed with her friend Ethel, and they have begun to be separated to encourage independence. This is a special girl who didn’t ask for the circumstances she came from — but she deserves the very best going forward. If you’re ready to open your heart to a dog who will reward your patience with quiet loyalty and love, Lucy is ready to begin her new chapter. 📍 Located in Bradenton, FL 📩 Apply to adopt at ewenityfarmsbch.com

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Meet Abbi   Almost 5 years old and a precious little poodle mix, Abbi is what we lovingly call a Velcro dog. She bonds deeply with her person and just wants to be near you — leaning in for hugs, resting her head on you, and even flashing the cutest little smile when she’s happy.   Abbi spent most of her life crated up to 18 hours a day, so she truly deserves a home where she can soak up all the love and attention. She would be perfectly happy as the only dog in the home, soaking in being someone’s whole world. While she’s good with other dogs and cats, she doesn’t really care to play — she’d much rather sunbathe, snuggle, or carry around her favorite stuffies.   She’s: • Crate trained (though she happily just sleeps in her dog bed) • House trained • Leash trained • Good with cats and dogs • Great with kids   Abbi is gentle, affectionate, and a total hugger. If you’re looking for a loyal shadow who will adore you with her whole heart, Abbi is your girl.  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.March 4, 2026, 4:08 am

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Meet Karma (AKA Archie)!   This 42-lb, 8-month-old Bernedoodle pup is full of energy, love, and all the good “dood” vibes you could ask for!   Karma is crate trained when his people are away and is almost fully potty trained (with just the occasional puppy oops). He’s friendly and playful with both people and other dogs, and he’s always up for an adventure — beach days, park trips, long walks… you name it, he’s ready!   He loves: Toys and playtime Outdoor activities A fenced yard to run and zoom Snuggling his person (he’s convinced he’s a lapdog!)   Karma is still a puppy, so he’s working on his manners. He knows “come” and “sit,” and is practicing “stay” and “down.” He does get excited and may jump up to say hello, so continued training will help him shine. He would do best in a home with adults and/or older children who can help reinforce his training.   He’s very food motivated (mention a treat or shake the dinner bowl and he’s there! ), but he does have a sensitive belly and eats a chicken-free diet (Blue Buffalo Basics kibble). Karma can be moderately protective of his food bowl, so he just needs a little space during mealtime. Outside of that, he does not show guarding behaviors with people, toys, or treats.   &#226&#156&#168 Neutered &#226&#156&#168 Up to date on vaccinations &#226&#156&#168 Ready for his forever home in the Tampa Bay area   Karma is a sweet, loving boy who deserves a family ready to match his energy, continue his training, and give him all the cuddles he craves.   Could Karma be the good “dood” you’ve been looking for? NAME:  Kip BREED:  Poodle/terrier mix SEX:  male COLOR:  cream/white AGE:  2 yrs as of Sept 2025 WEIGHT:  10 lbs FOSTERED BY: LOCATED IN: NOTES FROM FOSTER FAMILY: Meet Kip! Kip is a sweet, energetic, cozy-loving pup who’s all about the simple joys in life. He absolutely loves blankets and is happiest curled up on a blanket on the couch, taking a nap right next to his people. When it’s time for bath day, Kip is easygoing and doesn’t mind getting warm baths at all—he’s a very polite boy! When he’s not relaxing, Kip’s energetic side shines. He enjoys zoomies in the yard, a good game of fetch, chewing on bones, and playing with his toys—though fair warning: his toys need to be stuffing-less, because if there’s stuffing inside, Kip will happily pull it out. He also loves playing with other little dogs and is comfortable around big dogs. He does great sharing space with no food aggression or resource guarding, and Kip is great with kids, making him a wonderful family companion. Kip has been through a lot in his past, including being hit by a car, but you’d never know it—his injuries don’t slow him down or dampen his happy spirit at all. To help him feel his best during playtime, he may benefit from having carpet or rugs throughout the house so he has good traction while running and playing. After dinner, Kip’s favorite routine is winding down with a good brushing (especially when he’s tired), and he never misses a chance to bark at cows if any are nearby—it’s one of his favorite “jobs.” Kip would do wonderfully in a home that enjoys both playtime and cuddle time. If you’re looking for an energetic yet snuggly companion who’s equally happy fetching a ball or snoozing on a blanket, Kip might be your perfect match.  If you are interested in adopting please complete our Adoption Application by copying and pasting the following link into your web browser: http://www.caninecastaways.org/adoption-application For a full list of dogs we currently have for adoption use this link:  https://www.caninecastaways.org/adoptable-dogs MEDICAL INFO: The following has been or will be done for this dog... - Basic Exam by Veterinarian - Spayed or Neutered - Heartworm Tested - Placed on heartworm preventive - Basic Bloodwork - Urinalysis - Microchipped - Intestinal Parasite Exam and medication - Vaccinations - Placed on Flea preventive ADOPTION DONATION: $300 This adoption donation helps to cover the vet expenses for this dog including heartworm preventive which is dispensed at the initial vet visit and then goes with the dog at adoption. NAME:  Dominic BREED:  Poodle/Rat Terrier mix SEX:  male COLOR:  black/white AGE:  1 yr as of May 2025 WEIGHT:  11.5 lbs   FOSTERED BY: LOCATED IN: NOTES FROM FOSTER FAMILY: Hi! My name is Dominic, but my foster mom calls me Fluffy because I’m so soft. I love to play with my foster siblings and I’m a good follower, so I would like a friend who will rough house with me and that I can follow to gain my confidence. I overheard my mom say I’m “special” because I have four legs, but only three feet. I’m not sure what special means, but I don’t let it bother me one bit! I keep up with the pack and can jump, run, and play. I love belly rubs and will show anyone my belly to get them. I also like to give kisses. I’m potty trained and I’m kennel trained. I would like a home where I can have lots of affection, a companion, and a fence. I don’t understand leash walking, I like to be independent when I potty. I’m a little guy with a big heart, three paws and lots of love to give. Will you give me a furever home?  Dominic came from a confiscation case (along with his siblings and mom) but unfortunately poor Dominic had gotten his foot caught in the rabbit cage that he was stuck in and sadly chewed off his foot to get loose.  He is doing amazing and hasn't let that stop him from being a happy little guy!   If you are interested in adopting please complete our Adoption Application by copying and pasting the following link into your web browser: http://www.caninecastaways.org/adoption-application For a full list of dogs we currently have for adoption use this link:  https://www.caninecastaways.org/adoptable-dogs MEDICAL INFO: The following has been or will be done for this puppy at the appropriate age... - Basic Exam by Veterinarian - Spayed or Neutered - Placed on heartworm preventive - Basic Bloodwork - Microchipped - Intestinal Parasite Exam and medication - Vaccinations - Placed on flea preventive ADOPTION DONATION: $300 This adoption donation helps to cover the vet expenses for this puppy including heartworm preventive which is dispensed at the initial vet visit and then goes with the dog at adoption.
