Meet Rocky! 🐾 Rocky is a big, goofy puppy right in the middle of adolescence, with a huge personality, a smart brain, and so much love and enthusiasm for life! He is sweet, silly, playful, and always ready for some fun. Despite everything he has been through, Rocky has maintained an incredible joy for life and trust in people. Rocky hasn’t gotten to have the typical puppyhood he deserved. He has spent months dealing with injuries, surgery, recovery, and lots of necessary rest, meaning he has missed out on many of the adventures, experiences, and training opportunities most puppies get along the way. Now, he is eager to make up for lost time! Please speak with our staff to learn more about Rocky’s medical history, recovery, and what he may need moving forward. Rocky is an active, energetic boy who absolutely loves to play. Frozen Kongs, lick mats, chews, and rope toys are some of his favorites, and he is the kind of smart dog who will benefit from having plenty of fun ways to keep both his body and brain busy. He has also met other dogs and was very excited to make friends, greeting them appropriately, although his recovery limited how much actual playtime he could have. Because Rocky has missed some important puppy experiences, he is still learning how to handle all of his excitement. Sometimes the world feels like a lot, and those big adolescent feelings can come out as barking, jumping, or mouthiness. He’ll thrive with a dog-experienced adopter who can give him positive direction, consistency, training, and plenty of appropriate outlets for his energy. Rocky would do best with teens or older, and a fenced yard would give him a wonderful space to play and practice his skills as he continues gaining confidence. This sweet boy has spent enough of his puppyhood on the sidelines. Rocky is ready to learn, explore, play, make up for lost time, and finally enjoy all the fun that comes with being a big puppy! He just needs someone who sees the wonderful dog underneath all that adolescent enthusiasm and is excited to help him become his very best self.

Meet Royalty! Royalty is a handsome 5-year-old Doodle mix whose name couldn't suit him better. With his regal appearance and calm, confident personality, he truly lives up to it. Although his beautiful black-and-white coat had to be shaved, it will grow back just as gorgeous as ever. Royalty is a true gentleman. He's house-trained, crate-trained, and has wonderful manners. He gets along great with other dogs and enjoys playing with them, but he's just as happy relaxing by your side. One of Royalty's favorite things is meeting new people. Everyone who meets him falls in love with his sweet, gentle nature. He walks fairly well on a leash, and with just a bit more practice, he will be a wonderful companion for neighborhood strolls. When Royalty wants a little extra affection, he'll quietly come over and rest his head in your lap, asking for pets in the sweetest way possible. It's impossible not to melt when he does. His laid-back personality, gentle spirit, and loving heart make him an exceptional companion. Nev has a simple recipe for a good day- a few toys to choose from, a walk around the neighborhood and a person willing to pet her for just a little longer. At 14 pounds, she’s small enough to curl up in your lap, but she brings the perfect amount of spunk to playtime. She can happily entertain herself with her toys, then come over and nudge your hand with her head when she’s ready for affection. What she really makes her happy is having a person close by. Nev may be a little shy when she first arrives somewhere new. Give her a bit of time, and her confident, affectionate personality starts to show. She’s been lovely with children- playful and gentle, without getting too jumpy or mouthy. She walks nicely on leash, is comfortable in her crate and is generally a quiet little housemate. Sadly, their world changed when their beloved owner passed away after a battle with cancer.
