Story
Meet Royalty! Royalty is a handsome 5-year-old Doodle mix whose name couldn't suit him better. With his regal appearance and calm, confident personality, he truly lives up to it. Although his beautiful black-and-white coat had to be shaved, it will grow back just as gorgeous as ever. Royalty is a true gentleman. He's house-trained, crate-trained, and has wonderful manners. He gets along great with other dogs and enjoys playing with them, but he's just as happy relaxing by your side. One of Royalty's favorite things is meeting new people. Everyone who meets him falls in love with his sweet, gentle nature. He walks fairly well on a leash, and with just a bit more practice, he will be a wonderful companion for neighborhood strolls. When Royalty wants a little extra affection, he'll quietly come over and rest his head in your lap, asking for pets in the sweetest way possible. It's impossible not to melt when he does. His laid-back personality, gentle spirit, and loving heart make him an exceptional companion. Whether you're looking for a walking buddy, a couch companion, or simply a loyal best friend, Royalty is ready to become a cherished member of your family.

Story
Welcome to Carmen to CCPAL Rescue. She is a 1.5- to 2-year-old Poodle. She is very sweet and has the delicate frame of a poodle. She is affectionate and likes attention and being held. She is not a shedding dog. She came in and it was hard to determine her breed. We have some experienced groomer volunteers that groomed her and now we know. She is an adorable poodle. Her baby is Jelly Bean. She weighs about 13 pounds. She has nice longer legs and would be a nice walking companion. She is active but not over the top. A moderately active family with a condo sized yard would be sufficient. She is smart and will make some lucky family a great companion. She would be fine with children. We like them to be 8 or older due to her trusting nature and delicate frame. She is not a shedder and will make a good pet for a family who is allergic or who don’t like to clean up dog hair. She is good with other dogs and good in a crate. She may not have many commands under her belt at the moment but she is eager to please and smart. She is in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get her to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. Her adoption fee is 600 and transport is 200. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states. Double the Doodles, Double the Love: Meet Jordy & Joey Jordy and Joey are two beautiful chocolate Labradoodles looking for a family to love them as much as they love each other. Jordy is a 5-year-old male, and Joey is a 4½-year-old female. With their stunning curly, multi-colored coats and sweet personalities, these two turn heads everywhere they go. But what truly makes them special isn't their looks—it's the incredible bond they share. Until recently, Jordy and Joey lived a happy life with the owner they adored. Sadly, their world changed when their beloved owner passed away after a battle with cancer. During this difficult transition, the local doggy daycare where they spent many fun-filled days stepped in to help. When they were unable to find the right home, they reached out to A Lab for Life to give these deserving dogs another chance. Despite everything they've been through, Jordy and Joey remain loving, happy companions. They enjoy playing with other dogs, and they're so easygoing that they don't even bother the cat in their foster home. They are both house trained, crate trained, and excellent passengers in the car. In fact, the moment they hear "go bye-bye," they're ready to hop in and join the adventure. Jordy and Joey are what we call a bonded pair, meaning they need to be adopted together. While they love making friends with other dogs, they're never far from each other's side. They play together, nap together, and provide comfort and companionship to one another. After losing the only home they've ever known, we simply can't imagine separating them now. We know the idea of adopting two dogs may seem overwhelming, but these two make it easy. They entertain each other, keep each other company, and bring twice the joy, twice the laughs, and twice the love. Their bond is one of the things that makes them so special. Jordy and Joey are looking for a family willing to open their hearts to both of them—a family that understands that sometimes the best things come in pairs. If you're ready for double the doodles and double the love, Jordy and Joey are ready to meet you.

Fi Fi is a petite mini poodle who was born in March. She weighs about 6 pounds and will be about 10 pounds full grown. She is pee pad trained.  She is up-to-date on her vaccinations, scheduled to be spayed next week and microchipped. She is a breed that requires grooming. so consider that when putting in an application. Poodles can live long lives, so the person should consider the long-term responsibility.
