Story
Ranee and her fabulous poodle poof are ready to find a loving home. This sweet girl is around 13 years old and weighs 11 pounds. While she is blind in her right eye, Ranee still has vision in her left eye and gets around well. She enjoys following the other dogs around and happily soaks up any affection that comes her way. Ranee has such a calm, easygoing personality. She rarely, if ever, barks. When visitors arrive, she prefers to watch from the comfort of her bed while the more energetic pups rush over to investigate. She’s just a sweetheart. Medically, Ranee has stage B2 valvular disease that is currently being managed with three heart medications. She will need an echocardiogram every 4–6 months. She also has a small mammary tumor and significant dental disease, but due to her age and overall condition, our vets do not recommend anesthesia for dental surgery at this time. She is spayed, up-to-date on vaccines, and recently had full blood work. We would love to find Ranee a loving home where she can be cherished for the rest of her life, however long that may be. My name is Margaret and I am a 4-year old apricot mini Poodle. I weigh 11 pounds. I was surrendered by a breeder. I am shy, friendly to other dogs but very timid with people. I need a home with another dog to live with and no children. I am not used to them. I am spayed, current on shots, heartworm negative, microchipped and I had my teeth cleaned too. I am working on potty training. I am not leash trained yet. My adoption fee is $400. If adopted up North, a transport fee of $205 and health certificate fee of $110 will be added. He’s housebroken, grazes at his food bowl, and enjoys treats after walks. Cocoa can be protective of his chew bones, food, and treats, and may bite if hands go in his crate (his safe space). Meet Eli!  This handsome guy was rescued along with his daughter, Bella, from the working life of dogs that belonged to a breeder.  To this man all the dogs were simply property.  Eli spent 10 years living life in a crate only being handled when he was 'needed'.  You would never know this sweet boy merely existed.  He shows none of the scars you would expect him to have.  Eli is a very sweet and loving southern gentleman who is slowly learning to live life as a pet.  He is adjusting to fresh air and grass.  Both of which were a truly new experience for him.  He began going outside only because he wanted to stay near his foster mom.  Now he happily walks around the yard and joins Bella and his other foster brothers and sisters for a little sunshine.  Eli is a very smart boy and is already housebroken.  He is also doing a great job walking on a leash.  Eli's favorite place is either in the chair curled up or louging on the back of the chair.  He is able to see everything from that perch.  Eli is ready to find his forever home.  He has plenty of years let to enjoy the good things that life has to offer.  He is looking for a quiet home full of patience and understanding.  He needs a family that will be there for him but allow him to adjust and blossom and his own pace.  You won't be sorry if you add this gentleman to your family.  To be considered for his forever family and to request an application. please contact Vivienne at vivienneajames@gmail.com.  APPROVED APPLICATION AND ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED.  (Eli is currently in Tennessee and can be transported north upon adoption.)  No small children.  December 20, 2025, 12:12 am
