Meet Harper! 🐾 She is a sweet and lovable Mini Goldendoodle who is ready to find her forever family! Like many young dogs, she’s still learning the ropes of being the perfect house companion, and she’s making great progress every day!! She has a playful personality that sometimes shows through with a bit of enthusiastic jumping, but it’s all part of her happy, silly charm. She’s already showing how smart she is and understands commands like “no,” “down,” and “leave it,” and she does a great job coming when called. Most importantly, she truly wants to please her people, which makes her a wonderful dog to continue training and growing with. When playtime is over, her softer side shines. She absolutely loves sitting next to her person, soaking up pets, and curling up for cozy naps. She’s the perfect mix of fun, affection, and companionship. She would thrive with someone gentle, patient, and active who will enjoy her playful spirit and continue helping her grow into the amazing adult dog she’s meant to be. If you’re looking for a sweet, affectionate, and fun-loving companion who will keep you smiling and happily snuggle up by your side, this doodle girl might just be your perfect match. 🐾 The shelter is open Tuesday through Friday from 3:30 PM to 6:30 PM, and on Saturday and Sunday from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM. A meet-and-greet is required for all shelter dogs if you already have a dog. Thank you for considering the adoption of a shelter animal in need!

Story
This is one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to write. Gracie is not just a dog—she is pure love. She has never met a stranger in her life. Every person she meetsv becomes her friend, and every room she walks into feels a little lighter because she’s in it. She is playful, gentle, and has the sweetest, most loving heart. She would do beautifully in a home where she can be surrounded by people—especially a family, maybe with children—because she truly lives to love and be loved. She just wants to be close to you, part of your world, and included in your everyday life. I love her more than I can put into words, and that’s what makes this so painful. But my work schedule has become so demanding, and living in an apartment means I can’t give her the time, space, and life she deserves. And she deserves so much more than what I can give. This is so hard but I need to do what is best for Gracie. She deserves the very best!
