Story
Youngtu | 7 years old | Poodle Name: Youngtu Age: 7 years Sex: Spayed female Breed: Poodle Coat: Beige Weight: 3.2 kg Height: 30 cm (shoulder height)   Rescue Story   Youngtu was adopted as a puppy, but due to her adopter’s life circumstances—including the birth of a child and an overseas work assignment—she was unfortunately surrendered and returned to rescue. She has now been living in a foster home for about one month, where she has been adjusting well and enjoying the stability of home life again.   ‍ Human Socialization Youngtu is very affectionate and people-oriented. She approaches both familiar and unfamiliar people happily, rubs against them, and enjoys being touched. She tends to seek a lot of human attention and companionship.   She has not had direct experience with children under 13. Youngtu is comfortable being picked up with an arm under her belly and will often show her belly even to people she has just met—an indication of her friendly and trusting nature.   Dog Socialization Youngtu will approach unfamiliar dogs to greet them but generally does not engage in play. She tends to feel intimidated by dogs larger than herself.   If another dog provokes her, she may react defensively, so careful introductions are important, especially with new or unfamiliar dogs. When a new dog enters a space she was already occupying, she may attempt to assert herself by nipping toward the other dog’s rear or rushing toward them in a confrontational way. Proper management and guidance are recommended in multi-dog settings.   Cats On walks, Youngtu may look at cats with curiosity, but she follows her handler well and redirects easily when guided.   Energy Level Youngtu has a moderate energy level. She enjoys outdoor activities and walks, but settles calmly and rests quietly afterward.   ‍ Walks Youngtu is generally does not pull. She follows her handler well. When encountering other dogs on walks, she may sometimes pass calmly, but at other times may initiate or respond to tension—especially if the other dog growls. While injuries have not occurred, brief scuffles can happen, so continued leash manners training and attentive handling are recommended.   Additional Notes • No food guarding toward people • May growl if another dog approaches while she is eating (separate feeding works well) • Calm and well-mannered in a crate • Currently potty trained for both indoor and outdoor elimination   Youngtu is a loving, human-focused companion who would thrive in a home that can provide guidance, structure, and thoughtful dog introductions. With the right environment, she will be a deeply devoted and affectionate family member. Apply to adopt or foster https://adoptmekr.org  Please also visit our Facebook or Instagram. QUICK FACTS Name: Lua Age: 9 years old (Estimated) Gender: Female (Spayed) Breed: Poodle Color: Black Weight:6 kg / 13 lbs Microchipped Full Vaccinated   MY RESCUE STORY     MY HEALTH  March 2025: Patellar luxation check  May 2025: Spay surgery 10 teeth extracted Dental scaling Mammary tumor removal KIT test positive November 2025: KIT test negative (Stage 2, larvae observed, no heart shape deformity, no related symptoms)   MY PERSONALITY Hi! I’m Lua, a calm and gentle girl who loves being around people. I really enjoy watching TV and snuggling with my humans. I’m a little shy at first, but I warm up quickly with treats and enjoy being petted once we’re friends.   MY SOCIAL SKILLS · With People: I’m a little shy at first, but I love treats and will quickly warm up to you. Once we’re friends, I enjoy being petted and cuddled. I haven’t met many children under 13 yet, and I’m happy to be picked up by sliding your arms under my belly. I’m looking for a loving family who will give me patience, treats, and gentle cuddles! · With Dogs: I will approach and greet unfamiliar dogs, but I don’t usually play with them right away—I need some time to feel comfortable. I tend to feel a bit overwhelmed around dogs with high energy, and I’m generally not very interested in other dogs. · With Cats: I haven’t had any observed reactions to cats yet. At the hospital, I didn’t respond to the cats in the neighboring kennels.   ENERGY LEVEL & ACTIVITY I have a low energy level and love to relax calmly. I’m not very used to walks, and if something scares me during a walk, I tend to lie flat on the ground. TRAINING & HABITS I don’t guard my food from people, but I may growl if another dog approaches while I’m eating. I almost never bark. I’m calm when in a kennel. I haven’t learned to go to the bathroom indoors and don’t seem to have experience with potty pads. MY IDEAL HOME A calm and patient family who understands she’s a little shy at first Experienced with or open to older, low-energy dogs Children over 13 or adults, as she hasn’t had much experience with young kids A quiet environment without high-energy or very playful dogs A home where she can relax indoors, with gentle walks introduced gradually Someone willing to help her learn potty pads or indoor bathroom habits Plenty of treats, cuddles, and soft spots to lounge   SPECIAL NOTES Meet Lua! She’s a friendly and active Poodle who doesn’t let her age show. Despite being a Stage 2 rescue dog, she’s full of energy and loves spending time with people. Lua is ready to find a loving home where she can share her playful spirit and sweet personality with her new family.   Lua's YouTube Playlist   Apply to foster or adopt: https://www.welcomedogkorea.org For Inquiries: info@welcomedogkorea.com ##2615964##

Story
QUICK FACTS Name: Seongryong Age: 4 years old Gender: Male (Neutering Scheduled) Breed: Poodle Color: Black Weight: 5kg / 11lbs Microchipped, Fully Vaccinated Up to Date, Dewormed   MY RESCUE STORY I rescued from a city pound in South Korea after being placed on the euthanasia list due to lack of space. Thanks to timely rescue and kind care, I was given a second chance at life—and now I’m ready to find a loving family of my own.   MY HEALTH All vaccinations up-to-date Neutering to be scheduled & healthy with no known health issues   MY PERSONALITY I’m your textbook Poodle in both looks and personality! I adore people and truly soak up affection, pets, and quality time — human companionship is my favorite thing. I’m a smart boy who learns tricks super fast and loves showing off my clever side. If you’re looking for a loving, people-oriented pup with brains and charm, I might just be your perfect match!   MY SOCIAL SKILLS · With People: I absolutely love people, and everyone I meet instantly becomes my best friend! I’m a total lovebug who enjoys cuddling up in your arms and soaking in all the affection. I’m wonderful with kids and very gentle, and I’m comfortable being picked up — I just go along with it and enjoy the closeness. If you’re looking for a pup with a big heart and an even bigger love for people, that’s me! · With Dogs: I enjoy greeting new dogs, but I like to take things slow and don’t jump straight into play. I get along well with other dogs at the care facility, though I can feel a bit jealous when other pups receive attention or treats. Sometimes I try to sneak an extra treat for myself and can become sensitive if other dogs approach me while I’m eating. Because of this, thoughtful management during treat and meal times is important when other dogs are around. I’m still learning patience and would benefit from continued training. For now, I would thrive best as the only dog in a home, where I can enjoy one-on-one attention and build a strong bond with my caretaker. · With Cats: My reaction to cats is unknown. A cat test can be arranged upon request to ensure the best fit.   ENERGY LEVEL & ACTIVITY I have a moderate to high energy level and love getting my wiggles out before relaxing. Once I’ve had a good walk, playtime, or mental stimulation, I settle nicely indoors and enjoy being calm and content by your side. A balance of activity and downtime helps me be my best self!   TRAINING & HABITS I may pull on leash at times, but overall I walk well and do a nice job following my handler’s lead. I don’t guard my food with people, though I can be sensitive when other dogs are nearby during meals. I sometimes bark to get attention and am still learning how to settle calmly in my kennel, but I’m making progress. I currently potty both indoors and outdoors, and in new environments I may have a tendency to mark. With consistency, patience, and continued training, I’ll keep improving every day!   MY IDEAL HOME I’m searching for a patient, loving family who can help me become the best version of myself. I’ll thrive in a home with: A family that will provide me with a safe haven – where I can decompress, be myself, and a stable environment. A family that understands my rough past and is patient with me throughout. A family that enjoys outdoor & indoor time together. A family that will love and cherish me forever. A home where I’ll be the only dog. A home where I won’t be left alone for long periods of time as I crave for human attention.   SPECIAL NOTES I’m considered a Level 1 rescue dog, which means I tend to settle into new environments quickly and adjust with ease. Because I absolutely adore human attention, I form strong bonds with my family in no time at all. I have a big appetite and a huge love for food — which also makes me a quick and eager learner! With tasty rewards, affection, and consistency, I’m ready to shine in my forever home.   Seongryong's YouTube Playlist   Apply to foster or adopt: https://www.welcomedogkorea.org For Inquiries: info@welcomedogkorea.com ##2607574##

ALL ABOUT ME  Name: Maxim Age: 10 years old Gender: Male Spayed/Neutered: Yes Breed: Poodle Colour: Brown Weight: 5kg / 11lbs Microchipped: Yes   MY RESCUE STORY Hi there! I’m Maxim. I had a scary start—I was placed on the euthanasia list at a city pound because the shelter didn’t have enough space. Thankfully, I was rescued just in time, and now I’m healthy, happy, and ready to find my forever family who will love me and give me the safe, caring home I deserve.   MY HEALTH Fully vaccinated (5-round series complete)  I’ve been neutered and have no known health issues.   MY PERSONALITY I’m a sweet and smart girl who absolutely adores people! I love meeting new friends and enjoy their company, and I get along peacefully with my dog friends too. I’m friendly, gentle, and full of love to share with my forever family.   MY SOCIAL SKILLS With People: I absolutely love people! I enjoy greeting new friends and making connections wherever I go. I’m always happy to receive pets and affection, and you can easily pick me up for cuddles. I haven’t had much experience with kids yet, but with gentle, dog-savvy children, I’m sure I’ll do great thanks to my sweet and friendly nature.   With Dogs:  I enjoy saying hello to new dog friends, but I like to take my time before jumping into play. After a quick greeting, I usually prefer to do my own thing. I’m pretty indifferent around other dogs, but one thing’s for sure—I’m very peaceful and easygoing! Even if another dog is a little rude or pushy, I’ll calmly walk away and avoid any drama. I’m all about keeping things calm and conflict-free.   With Cats:  I haven’t met any cats yet, so my reaction is unknown.    ENERGY AND ACTIVITIES I have a low energy level and love being a true couch potato indoors. I enjoy relaxing, lounging, and soaking up calm moments with my people—there’s nothing better than a cozy spot and some quiet time.   TRAINING & HABITS I follow my handler’s lead well and seem to have plenty of experience walking on leash. I’m easygoing around both people and dogs and don’t guard my food. Sometimes I bark to get attention, and I may bark at strangers when I first meet them, but I settle quickly. I know how to rest calmly in my kennel and can potty both indoors and outdoors. In new environments, I might mark a little, so I’ll need some gentle guidance from my new family to help me adjust. With patience and love, I’ll continue to learn and thrive!   MY IDEAL HOME I’m looking for a patient, loving family who can help me become the best version of myself. I’ll thrive in a home with: A family that offers a safe, structured, and calm environment. A family that enjoys spending quality time together indoors & outdoors. A family that can shower me with love and attention.   SPECIAL NOTES I’m a friendly and affectionate pup who loves meeting new people and getting lots of pets. I enjoy spending time outdoors exploring, but I can also settle down and relax indoors. I walk nicely on leash, and I’m easygoing around people and dogs, though I do best with a little guidance in new situations. I’m potty-trained for both indoors and outdoors, and with a consistent routine, I’ll happily prefer outdoor potty. I’m full of love and ready to find my forever family who will help me feel safe, happy, and cherished every day.   For More YouTube Clips, Click Here!Maxim’s YouTube Playlist ##2508818##
