Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. If you are looking for that snuggle buddy, look no further, I’m your girl! Hi, my name is Chloe. I am a very sweet 11lb girl approximately 3-5 years old, you know, as I won't tell won’t my age. However, I know what I want....I want nothing less than to sit on your lap or lay next to you while you watch your favorite shows. I sleep quietly in my crate at night, walk well on a leash and likes nothing better than a soft bed or chair to curl up on. I have that potty thing just about down pat as long as a schedule is maintained. Presently, I live with a resident dog and have met some children. I do well with the little ones but due prefer they be respectful children as I am tiny. If I sound like a sweetie to you and you want to meet me, put your application in. Story
Please contact Jamesa (roxysrescue@yahoo.com), 713-882-2610 for more information about this pet.ADOPTED!! Sasha is an overweight poodle at 21 pounds and she should be more like 15 pounds.  She could really use an owner to help her lose weight and feel loved again.  She is 6 years old so no need to potty trained this young veteran.  Sasha came to me with another dog after their owner suddenly passed away from health problems.  She is dog and people friendly, walks well on the leash and rides in the car without getting sick.  Her companion was an overweight male chihuahua mix and they had been together a long time.  He has been placed already and now Sasha would love to be in a stable home.   If you are interested in adopting Sasha please submit an application on the website below.  Thank you. www.roxysk9rescue.org     ADOPTION FEE & APPLICATION REQUIRED   Roxxy's K-9 Rescue does not have a shelter, all of our dogs are raised in foster homes.  Each dog comes  spay/neutered (fixed), rabies shots appropriate for their age, and dewormed twice.  The dogs are up to date on vaccinations according to their age at the time of adoption.  They are microchipped, heartworm tested and on monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventative.  ALL OF THIS IS INCLUDED IN THE ADOPTION FEE. We transport across the United States. Medical records will come with each dog at the time of adoption. Our organization is run by volunteers/foster parents, please be patient to give us time to respond to your emails and/or phone calls.  We will reply to you.  Thank you.         July 5, 2024, 7:42 am

Story
Please contact Jamesa (roxysrescue@yahoo.com), 713-882-2610 for more information about this pet. This little guy SAMMY has been with me a while because he had cherry eyes in both eyes and needed surgery.  He still looks a little sluggish but his surgery to remove both cherry eyes went smoothly and he is healing with no problems.  There is NO daily maintenance for upkeep required on him. SAMMY is 3 years old and weighs 11.30 pounds.  He is leash trained and rides well in the car.  I call SAMMY the daddy of the group of dogs around here because he acts like everyone's loving dad.  Especially with the puppies, he cleans them and gently plays with them and he knows what he is doing because he plays a little rougher with the older/bigger dogs. He is a great dog with all of the dogs and if one does not play with him he will get in their face and bark at them for a moment until another dog comes along and plays with him SAMMY is very social and friendly with everyone he meets.  He was found on the streets of San Antonio, TX in horrible shape, simply horrible.  His mats were at least 10 months old and it took me 2 days to get them off.  Oh by the way he looks scruffy and a bit raggedly because I groomed (hacked) him myself so he could have his neuter surgery.  I did not have time to have him properly groomed before the surgery.  I will clean him up again in a few days and post new pictures of him. SAMMY would do best in a home with another dog that he can play with.  He would be bored bad being the only dog.  I do NOT have cats in my home so I do not know how he would do with cats and I do not have the ability to cat test him.  I know he was on the streets a long time surviving the best he could.  Since being in my house he has been a great houseguest and has given me no problems.   If you are interested in adopting SAMMY please submit an application on the website below.  Thank you. www.roxysk9rescue.org     ADOPTION FEE & APPLICATION REQUIRED   Roxxy's K-9 Rescue does not have a shelter, all of our dogs are raised in foster homes. Story
Please contact Jamesa (roxysrescue@yahoo.com), 713-882-2610 for more information about this pet.Hello, Jack is a 1 year, 6 month old parti-poodle who was owner surrendered because his owner was having medical problems.  He weighs 26 pounds and has reach his adult weight.  He is gray and white. He would enjoy a home with a calm environment, he is playful with the puppies and came from a home that he shared with a 10 year old male poodle.  He has NOT been around any cats so we are unsure how he would do with them and I do not have the ability to cat test him. He loves to ride in the car and he is used to being walked on a daily basis and walks well on a leash. Story
Please contact Jamesa (roxysrescue@yahoo.com), 713-882-2610 for more information about this pet.ENZO is a 3 year old, 15 pound Poodle/Maltese according to his intake form at ACS, our very high kill shelter.  He was terribly matted when he came in and had to be shaved down completely.  His coat is growing back in waves so I cannot vouch for the exact breed mix he is.  He has reached his adult height and weight and will grow no more. ENZO is playful with you and like to cuddy but he is not a velcro dog.  He would be a great pet for a senior citizen or a family who just wants someone to love.  I put that he is not housetrained because he has excitement pee but he is about 75% potty trained and he does go outside to use it but wants to come right in so he can hang out with you.  He is a routine kind of guy, he goes where his bed is and he follows directions well.  He does not get sick in the car and walks well on the leash. I do not have cats and unsure how ENZO would do in a home with cats. If you are interested in adopting ENZO please submit an application on the website below.  Thank you. www.roxysk9rescue.org     ADOPTION FEE & APPLICATION REQUIRED   Roxxy's K-9 Rescue does not have a shelter, all of our dogs are raised in foster homes. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Meet Leyton, our adorable 2-year-old miniature Poodle. He's looking for his forever family after being released from a retiring breeder. Leyton is about 15 pounds of pure cuteness and love! Leyton is adjusting well to living in a home and being a pet! He is learning a lot, including how to navigate stairs and go outside. He loves being outdoors and playing with the other dogs in his foster home. Leyton is also learning to play with toys. He is friendly and enjoys being around people, but he can be a bit shy and nervous in new situations. Despite being smart and quick to learn, he still needs some work on leash training and house training. When the leash is put on him, he freezes and refuses to move, so a fully fenced yard in his new home will be necessary (no invisible fences). He is also getting used to crate training - he does well as long as he can see a person, but may cry a bit when left alone. His foster home is working on all of this, but continued training will be needed in his new home. Leyton was shaved down when he arrived and his coat is starting to grow out.  He will need regular grooming throughout his life so please keep that in mind if you are interested! Leyton is neutered, up to date with vaccines, microchipped, flea/worm treated and tested neg. for heartworm.  His adoption fee is $475Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.July 13, 2024, 8:20 am
