His adopter had to move to an assistant living facility and TITO was not able to relocate with her. Meet TITO, he is a funny and playful 4 year old poodle who weighs 10 pounds and will not get any bigger unless you are guilty of feeding your dog table food! TITO came to us horrible matted and rescued from the streets of San Antonio, TX in bad shape. He was so happy to land on a soft bed and was very hungry. I tried to cut his hair and mats off of him but he could use a really good grooming so you can see what a handsome boy he is. TITO has a playful and easy to lucky personality. There are no cats in the home so we do not know how he would get along with them. TITO has settled in very well with the other dogs in the foster home. He plays with big and small but he especially likes hanging around his foster mom, following her from room to room and cuddling with her. Her gets under her foot when her legs are crossed to scratch his back. He rubs himself back and forth until she picks him up and gives him a good rubdown, then he is happy. TITO is house-trained, crate-trained and can be left alone in the home without getting in to anything. He walks well on a leash and rides in the car without getting sick. They are microchipped, heartworm tested and on monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventative. ALL OF THIS IS INCLUDED IN THE ADOPTION FEE. We transport across the United States. She, along with several other dogs, came to us after their owner was cited for having more dogs than allowed and could no longer provide them with proper care. Thankfully, Stetson has been safe and loved since the very beginning. Stetson's breed mix is anyone's guess just by looking at him, but we do know his mom is a Poodle and his dad is a Chihuahua/Dachshund mix. Whatever combination he inherited, it definitely made for one adorable puppy! Growing up in rescue, Stetson has been surrounded by care and is now ready to find a family of his own. Like any puppy, he's curious, playful, and full of potential. He loves spending time with his siblings and is looking for a family that will continue his socialization, training, and shower him with affection as he grows. Only available for adoption in Texas. I’m a quiet, gentle guy with a really soft heart. I came here with a few of my companions through a transfer, and I’ll be honest—I’m still learning that the world can be a safe and kind place. It takes me a little time to trust new people. At first, I might hang back and just watch. I need someone very patient who will let me go at my own pace and not rush me. I need someone who can understand it may take a long time for me to become comfortable around humans, as I have had a rough beginning to life. I will try to run away from you. But I am not aggressive, or have ever tried to bite. With me being scared, I need you to understand that I will need patience with going outside. I will try to run away, so keep me on a harness until I learn coming back inside on my own is okay. I do feel more confident around other dogs, so a home with another canine is a must. They can help show me that life isn't so bad. I am unsure how I do with cats. Older considerate kids only. Due to my breed, I’ll also need regular grooming, but I’ve been very good for it here. I actually don't mind getting groomed. I find it very relaxing. I am heartworm positive right now, but I’ve already started treatment. I’ve been on antibiotics and am going through the ProHeart 12 protocol approved by the American Heartworm Society. The good news is that with this treatment, I should test negative in about 8–10 months. I’m neutered, up to date on all my vaccines and prevention, and microchipped, so I’m ready when the right person comes along. My adoption fee is $350. Born around March 11, 2025, this sweet boy weighs 10.8 pounds, making him the perfect size for lap snuggles and companionship. Moe came from a hoarding situation where he was one of 29 dogs, so the big world can feel a little overwhelming at first. Because of this, he may take a few minutes to warm up to new people. But once you approach him calmly and give him a few gentle pets, you can almost see the moment he relaxes—then he quickly becomes your loyal little friend. He gets along great with other dogs and truly enjoys their company. He will need to go to a home with another companion dog to help him feel comfortable and confident. Moe’s best friend here is Mitchell, and they would love to be adopted together.
