Story
Please contact Jamesa (roxysrescue@yahoo.com), 713-882-2610 for more information about this pet. This guy has been returned to our organization by no fault of his own.  His adopter had to move to an assistant living facility and TITO was not able to relocate with her. Meet TITO, he is a funny and playful 4 year old poodle who weighs 10 pounds and will not get any bigger unless you are guilty of feeding your dog table food!  TITO came to us horrible matted and rescued from the streets of San Antonio, TX in bad shape.  He was so happy to land on a soft bed and was very hungry.  I tried to cut his hair and mats off of him but he could use a really good grooming so you can see what a handsome boy he is. TITO has a playful and easy to lucky personality.  There are no cats in the home so we do not know how he would get along with them. TITO has settled in very well with the other dogs in the foster home.  He plays with big and small but he especially likes hanging around his foster mom, following her from room to room and cuddling with her.  Her gets under her foot when her legs are crossed to scratch his back.  He rubs himself back and forth until she picks him up and gives him a good rubdown, then he is happy. TITO is house-trained, crate-trained and can be left alone in the home without getting in to anything.  He walks well on a leash and rides in the car without getting sick. If you are interested in adopting TITO, please submit an application on the website below.  Thank you. www.roxysk9rescue.org     ADOPTION FEE & APPLICATION REQUIRED   Roxxy's K-9 Rescue does not have a shelter, all of our dogs are raised in foster homes.  Each dog comes  spay/neutered (fixed), rabies shots appropriate for their age, and dewormed twice.  The dogs are up to date on vaccinations according to their age at the time of adoption.  They are microchipped, heartworm tested and on monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventative.  ALL OF THIS IS INCLUDED IN THE ADOPTION FEE. We transport across the United States. Medical records will come with each dog at the time of adoption. Our organization is run by volunteers/foster parents, please be patient to give us time to respond to your emails and/or phone calls.  We will reply to you.  Thank you.         August 28, 2026, 1:00 am

Story
Jack and Jill went up a hill and found their way to SNIPSA! These two adorable senior miniature poodles are a bonded pair and are ready to spend their golden years side by side. They’ve shared a lifetime together and now hope to find a loving forever home where they can continue their journey as a pair. Jack and Jill rely heavily on each other for reassurance, often cuddling up with one another when he isn’t exploring. Jill is the sweeter, more confident of the two—she loves pets and will happily sit for treats. Jack, sweet as can be, can be found making his rounds in the SNIPSA office, showing off his soft side. This duo made their way to our program after their owner unexpectedly fell ill. There is no doubt these two were well-loved and taken care of. Their previous family wanted us to share: They love being right next to their chosen person. Jack was happiest laying beside his owner whenever he could. They both love going for car rides, are house-trained, and are sweet, loving companions. Together, they’re quiet, gentle, and full of personality. They don’t bark, enjoy their moments of playfulness, and have the cutest reunion ritual: after being separated, they circle around each other in a little poodle whirlpool! So Jack and Jill went up the hill… together, they’re hoping to come home with you.

Story
Meet Florence, a gentle 7-year-old, 7-pound Poodle mix who is slowly discovering what it means to be a beloved companion. She is incredibly sweet and loving, but also very cautious as she learns to trust her surroundings. Her biggest tail wags happen when she's outside, and she's beginning to lean into gentle pets as she learns that hands can bring comfort. Highlights: • Sweet and affectionate, with a cautious personality • Doesn't shed and is learning about house training • Gentle for baths and nail trims Florence is still building confidence, so she isn't the type of dog who will immediately race through the house looking for attention. She can be easily frightened and may need space when she feels overwhelmed. She's comfortable around her foster family's small dog, but she prefers calm interactions and time to herself. Leashes are still unfamiliar and uncomfortable for her, and she's currently very hesitant about coming inside from the yard. What Florence lacks in confidence, she makes up for with sweetness. Each small step matters, whether it's accepting a few pets, wagging her tail outside, or calmly allowing her foster family to care for her. She needs a patient family who understands that trust takes time and who will celebrate her progress without rushing her. Florence is a work in progress, but every glimpse of her gentle personality shows just how much love is waiting underneath her cautious exterior. Could you be the patient, understanding person who helps Florence discover how wonderful life with a family can be? 🐾💕
