Poodle (Miniature) American Pit Bull Terrier

Size
(when grown) Small 25 lbs (11 kg) or less
Details

Story
Scraggle came to us from Appalachia, VA heartworm positive with her full DNA verified blood sister, Bernadette. They completed heartworm treatment and are now HW negative! These two girls are full of chaos and sweetness. They are good snuggling up together quietly in a playpen, love chewing Benebones, do fine with cats and most other dogs (though their energy is probably enough "dog" for one home), and most of all they live for snacks and couch cuddles. Bernadette is the more dominant leader of the two, but once Scraggle is comfortable with you, she can definitely hold her own when wrestling her sister to beat her to a snack prize. If you want a permanent smile on your face and two adorable pups at your feet at all times, these girls are for you! They are so bonded they won't even wonder from each other while walking on a leash in public. Their DNA results are in the photos, but the "supermutt" includes: Mountain Curr, Chihuahua, Russel-type terrier, German Shepherd, and Cocker Spaniel.

Story
Elliott is a sweet little shadow who wants nothing more than to be by your side. 💙 Loves to cuddle and will happily be your lap dog—even at bedtime! 🍗 A picky eater, but boiled chicken mixed with kibble is the way to his heart. 🏡 Would do best in a quiet home with older children, as young kids can make him nervous. 👤 Can be a little unsure around larger men but is gentle and doesn’t growl. 🤫 Quiet by nature and only barks if left alone in a room. 🚽 House training is still a work in progress, but he’s making steady progress with a consistent routine. If you’re looking for a loyal little companion who will stick to you like glue, Elliott is ready to fill your home—and your lap—with love. ********************************************************************* Schedule a meet-and-greet by completing our Adoption Survey on the Adopt page of our website at https://www.olddominionhumanesociety.org/adoption-survey. Story
Riddler is quickly learning the benefits of living in a home. He comes further out of his shell everyday. In a week’s time he has progressed from nervous in his crate to joining his foster family on the couch to snuggle, chew on a stuff toy, or just sleeping through a movie. He is quiet by nature ~ is comfortable riding in the car ~ knows the crate is his safe space and spends time in it even with the door open. ~ is not a fan of the leash but enjoys spending time outside. He follows his foster parents around the yard and when they stop to look at the garden he patiently sits next to them waiting to see where they go next. ~ enjoys finding a nice place to lay to enjoy the sun. - dog friendly Riddler can still be startled by loud noises and skittish at times. He is very intelligent and his personality is evolving as his confidence builds. He continues to work on his leash skills and house manners showing progress every day. You can still come adopt me or even join our foster program to help the humans learn all the awesome things about new dogs like me! Learn more on our website!
