Story
Miley is an adorable 6-year-old, 12-pound Poodle-Coton de Tulear mix in need of a forever home.  Miley is in search of a quiet home with a securely fenced yard. At first Miley had no idea how to walk on a leash, but in only two weeks, she has mastered leash walking but can easily be scared by moving cars and loud noises. She is scared of children and their sudden movements, so a home without littles is ideal.  She is not aggressive at all.  Miley is mostly house trained and is doing very well with routine and positive reinforcement. Miley prefers a home where she won't be crated but having a crate open and available for her is perfect.  Miley is fostered with another pup; however, she may prefer to be your one and only spoiled girl or, if another pup, would need to be low energy.  Miley prefers women to men but opens up to anyone for ear scratches and belly rubs. Miley is treat motivated, loves the fenced yard and is wonderfully quiet!  Miley is fostered in northern VA and would love a forever home for holidays!  Can you help us? This cheerful little guy came into a local shelter as a stray and, sadly, was never reclaimed—but he hasn’t let that dim his joyful spirit one bit. Jack is a happy-go-lucky, silly, energetic pup who loves life and everyone in it. He gets along great with other dogs and would thrive in a home that’s ready for a fun, active companion. Whether it’s walks, playtime, adventures, or just goofing around, Jack is up for it all. Rooster is our surprise puppy born to a very young 10 month old Poodle Bichon girl who was given as a gift to her owner and very soon she was not a wanted dog. She was given as a girl paired with another male from the same breeder.   They were not neutered or spayed as they should have been and the mom, Sassy, the mom, was soon pregnant after her first heat.  Rooster and his brother Goose have been pampered and loved ever since they were born. Rooster is a happy, confident pup who is the leader over his brother.  He is eady for adoption this coming November 22nd and Critter Cavalry Rescue is eager to find his perfect family  His mom and dad weigh 11 pounds and so will Rooster. At 3 months he weighs 5 pounds.  We expect the weight range to be 14 pounds when fully grown.  He is not potty trained  yet due to his young age, but he is very socialized and very sweet.  He has been around large dogs and cats in the foster home and he loves to meet new people and be held.  The ultimate Fluff Puppy!!  please write to us at ccrnewengland@gmail.com if you are interested.  We transport from Nashville, Tn and he could leave on Nov. 22nd to come northward.   PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comNovember 29, 2025, 3:20 pm

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Sweet little Chris is one of several dogs brought in by our animal control officers when their family moved away and left them behind. Of all the dogs, Chris is the one who is neediest and most anxious to have love and a human friend. He wants to please. He wants to be a lap dog. He wants to be in your face! Even though we don’t know much about their background, we know these dogs got along with other dogs. We can’t guarantee house training, but we know they would love to have a chance to learn. We recommend they go to homes with children over the age of 10. If you’re interested in adoption, we’d love to talk to you.   PLEASE NOTE: This pet has been posted by Friends of Campbell County Animal Control, Rustburg, VA.
