Bilbo came to us after spending 4 years in a garage with no socialization, Afraid of everything, under weigh and severely matted. He has since came out of his shell, tho I do not think he would be good around kids under 12. He loves toys and especially chew toys like Bam Bones & Bully Sticks. He does hate to be groomed and in the past has had to be totally sedated but again we are working on running a comb thru he hair as its growing back. He has great recall at my house and uses a doggy door to potty and play outside which he loves. He does like to be on your lap not necessarily for pets just to lay there and be close to you. He needs some work on his leash walking as he does try to pull when out on a walk and encounter moving cars which he is afraid of, but he does ride in the car without any issues and seams to enjoy that. He MUST have a securely fenced yard, NO Dog Parks until he is trained better and NO apartments as he can be a barker when he hears something or when he is trying to get one of the other dogs to play. He is good with other dogs but doesn`t read warnings when they have had enough. He will nip at the back legs to get them to play more. With this I think he should be an only dog, maybe visits with other dogs but his hoe be only his. He does need to continue learning manners so someone who will work with him and a trainer would be a perfect home for Bilbo. He is a 5 year old puppy. He is now Neutered, up to date on vaccines and microchipped. His adoption fee is $340. He does have a heart murmur and on meds that run about $100 a month. Lifestyle change and increased travel away from home requires that we rehome our Buddy. He loves LOTS of affection and will thrive as the center of attention, ideally for a senior owner with a warm lap and ample pets throughout the day. UTD on shots and has plenty of love to share with the right person. Estimated 12 yrs old. Adopted as a young rescue at ~1 year old. Neutered and house trained. Has lived with other dogs and several cats over the years. He's totally capable of going in and out of a dog door as he needs if one is available. Yes, HE's a boy. Nev has a simple recipe for a good day- a few toys to choose from, a walk around the neighborhood and a person willing to pet her for just a little longer. At 14 pounds, she’s small enough to curl up in your lap, but she brings the perfect amount of spunk to playtime. She can happily entertain herself with her toys, then come over and nudge your hand with her head when she’s ready for affection. She lives in a foster home with other dogs and has also lived with cats and big dogs. She enjoys playing with canine friends once she knows them, but she’s just as happy making her own fun. What she really makes her happy is having a person close by. Nev may be a little shy when she first arrives somewhere new. Give her a bit of time, and her confident, affectionate personality starts to show. She’s been lovely with children- playful and gentle, without getting too jumpy or mouthy. She walks nicely on leash, is comfortable in her crate and is generally a quiet little housemate. Meet George! This adorable Poodle mix is full of spunk, curiosity, and charm. Whether he's chasing toys, asking for a belly rub, or curling up with one of his stuffies for a well earned nap, George approaches every day with enthusiasm. George is currently participating in our Puppy Socialization Program and loves meeting new buddies! He's also working hard on his basic manners and commands. Due to George's demanding nature, he would do best in a home without cats and with younger dogs his size or bigger. While he's not much of a snuggler, he is kennel trained and settles in nicely when it's time to relax. He is also great when walking on a leash, but he'd much rather spend his time playing at home or in the yard rather than going on a long walk. Ready to add some fun and love to your life? I was one happy pup enjoying every yummy bite. And because I’m such a good girl, I even shared some with my brother. Yummmy!!! I think I may have found one of my new favorite things! Tail Wags, Shelly   MY STORY I’m just a little puppy, searching for my furever home… could that be with you? Before I was even born, life was already uncertain. My mom, Sassy, was out there on her own, doing her best to survive. Kind people in the community helped feed her, but living on the streets is never easy—especially when you’re carrying eight tiny babies. Five girls… three boys… and one very brave mama trying to keep us all alive. She did everything she could for us. Then, something amazing happened… a kind woman stepped in to make sure my mom stayed safe and fed while she cared for us. And when we were about seven weeks old, another angel helped us find a foster home. Just in time too, because the cold and rain were coming. That’s when everything changed. For the first time, I felt what it was like to be warm… to be safe… to be inside a home. Now I sleep in a cozy place, run around outside playing, and then come back in to rest without worrying about what comes next. I’ve learned how good it feels to be loved. And my favorite thing?Putting my little paws around my foster mom's arm and holding on as tight as I can. I don’t just cuddle… I hold on.  Because deep down, I think I’ve always been waiting for someone to hold onto. I love people, I love playing in the water when the weather is nice.
