Meet George! This adorable Poodle mix is full of spunk, curiosity, and charm. Whether he's chasing toys, asking for a belly rub, or curling up with one of his stuffies for a well earned nap, George approaches every day with enthusiasm. George is currently participating in our Puppy Socialization Program and loves meeting new buddies! He's also working hard on his basic manners and commands. Due to George's demanding nature, he would do best in a home without cats and with younger dogs his size or bigger. While he's not much of a snuggler, he is kennel trained and settles in nicely when it's time to relax. He is also great when walking on a leash, but he'd much rather spend his time playing at home or in the yard rather than going on a long walk. Ready to add some fun and love to your life? Lifestyle change and increased travel away from home requires that we rehome our Buddy. He loves LOTS of affection and will thrive as the center of attention, ideally for a senior owner with a warm lap and ample pets throughout the day. UTD on shots and has plenty of love to share with the right person. Estimated 12 yrs old. Adopted as a young rescue at ~1 year old. Neutered and house trained. Has lived with other dogs and several cats over the years. He's totally capable of going in and out of a dog door as he needs if one is available. Yes, HE's a boy. He just loves wardrobe changes and ALL the attention that his Wonder Woman outfit generates.

Nev has a simple recipe for a good day- a few toys to choose from, a walk around the neighborhood and a person willing to pet her for just a little longer. At 14 pounds, she’s small enough to curl up in your lap, but she brings the perfect amount of spunk to playtime. She can happily entertain herself with her toys, then come over and nudge your hand with her head when she’s ready for affection. She lives in a foster home with other dogs and has also lived with cats and big dogs. She enjoys playing with canine friends once she knows them, but she’s just as happy making her own fun. What she really makes her happy is having a person close by. Nev may be a little shy when she first arrives somewhere new. Give her a bit of time, and her confident, affectionate personality starts to show. She’s been lovely with children- playful and gentle, without getting too jumpy or mouthy. She walks nicely on leash, is comfortable in her crate and is generally a quiet little housemate. Bilbo came to us after spending 4 years in a garage with no socialization, Afraid of everything, under weigh and severely matted. He has since came out of his shell, tho I do not think he would be good around kids under 12. He loves toys and especially chew toys like Bam Bones & Bully Sticks. He does hate to be groomed and in the past has had to be totally sedated but again we are working on running a comb thru he hair as its growing back. He has great recall at my house and uses a doggy door to potty and play outside which he loves. He does like to be on your lap not necessarily for pets just to lay there and be close to you. He needs some work on his leash walking as he does try to pull when out on a walk and encounter moving cars which he is afraid of, but he does ride in the car without any issues and seams to enjoy that. He MUST have a securely fenced yard, NO Dog Parks until he is trained better and NO apartments as he can be a barker when he hears something or when he is trying to get one of the other dogs to play. He is good with other dogs but doesn`t read warnings when they have had enough. He will nip at the back legs to get them to play more. With this I think he should be an only dog, maybe visits with other dogs but his home be only his. He does need to continue learning manners so someone who will work with him and a trainer would be a perfect home for Bilbo. He is a 5 year old puppy. He is now Neutered, up to date on vaccines and microchipped. His adoption fee is $340. He does have a heart murmur and on meds that run about $100 a month. We are looking to rehome our sweet boy Murphy. We've been able to take care of him very well up until now but with our busy work schedules and growing family we are no longer able to provide the care and love he deserves. He's very well trained, an indoor dog, potty trained, has no serious health concerns, is great around kids but can be a little skittish around new people so needs a patient kind home and hopefully a home that will help to keep him active. He loves fetch and walks, could use some extra work on leash walking but overall not bad at all. He's good with other dogs but can be protective at times so approach with caution and care but if he gets along with the dogs he plays great. He's 6 years old and we picked him up from wonderful breeders in Indiana. He's mostly an Old English Sheepdog but also a poodle mix so he does not shed. He's also used to getting regular grooms and does amazing at the groomers.
