Story
Hi There!! Lucy Here, born in rescue in 2014 with 7 other siblings to our Mama Mercedes. I am a sweet girl, very quiet and loving, gentle, obedient and good on leash and love long walks and can walk 3 miles! I love car rides and outdoor dining with you as we are well behaved!. I was available for adoption with my brother Chuck, we looked alike in our faces but not our body, Rescue thinks that Mom was a Puggle and Dad a Schnauzer. All us puppies and Mama were adopted in 2014, we had a family of our own to share, a Mom, Dad our own little girl and a fur sister...We were happy....Then, Our family returned my brother and I to the rescue June 2019, 5yrs later! Why? Because our Dad adopted a pitbull after they adopted us, and they already had a King Charles Cavalier... Why did he do that? who knows ... and that dog was picking on my brother Chuck, and human Mom was too stressed out to handle a new baby and the attacks... So we came back to our Rescuer in search of a loving, quiet home to retire in and take our walks.... we were in foster care a long time till our foster parents decided to travel, and then we became semi permanent residents of our rescuer… my sweet brother Chuck recently crossed over rainbow bridge and I am alone now… I would love nothing more than to be with an active Elder person or couple that takes walks and enjoys my company…. I’m a diamond in the rough I may not be beautiful outside but I’m beautiful inside I’m loyal, dedicated, and obedient… Will you let me spend my final chapters with you? Please consider an elder bonded pair, these pups are so well behaved, they are currently with Foster Parents in Yorba Linda who will tell you how good they are...

Story
Meet Tyler! Tyler is truly the whole package — everything you could want in a dog! This sweet boy is approximately 6 years old and weighs 14 pounds. He came to us after his previous owner could no longer care for him, and while it’s clear he was very loved, he’s now ready for his perfect forever home. Incredibly friendly, very affectionate, playful and loving, Tyler adores cuddling in your lap and being close to his people. He gets along wonderfully with other dogs, is great with kids, and doesn’t mind cats — making him an excellent fit for a wide range of households. This handsome guy is house-trained, walks well on a leash, and rides calmly in the car. He has a mellow, easygoing personality with just the right amount of playful spunk — especially when he’s doing zoomies in the yard! While Tyler isn’t a big barker, he is fast, so he’ll need a secure front door setup, as he can slip out quickly if given the chance. If you’re looking for a loyal, loving companion who’s already got the basics down and plenty of charm to spare, Tyler might be your perfect match. Come meet Tyler — and fall in love! If you are interested in meeting Tyler, please fill out the application on our website www.greatpets.org. Once we have received and reviewed your information we will contact you to discuss if Tyler is a good fit for your home Tyler‘s $250 adoption donation includes vet exam, vaccinations, microchip, neuter surgery, flea control blood work.    December 6, 2025, 10:48 am

Story
Billie is a gentle, sweet dog, but he is nervous away from home. He does not travel, and gets very fussy in a car. He is 2 1/2 years old, weighs 18 lbs, and is strong and healthy. Billie does not chew the furniture or anything but his bone and his biscuit. He doesn't hump, hardly sheds (part poodle), and almost never barks. He is a good boy, who protects his little brother from big dogs. He has beautiful brown eyes. As we need to travel with our dogs, and do not want to board him, we would like to find him a new home to settle into.

She shouldn’t be paired with any other animals but is great with all people including kids. She doesn’t make a mess in the house and only goes to the bathroom outside. She is 7 years old.
