Story
Hi There!! Lucy Here, born in rescue in 2014 with 7 other siblings to our Mama Mercedes. I am a sweet girl, very quiet and loving, gentle, obedient and good on leash and love long walks and can walk 3 miles! I love car rides and outdoor dining with you as we are well behaved!. I was available for adoption with my brother Chuck, we looked alike in our faces but not our body, Rescue thinks that Mom was a Puggle and Dad a Schnauzer. All us puppies and Mama were adopted in 2014, we had a family of our own to share, a Mom, Dad our own little girl and a fur sister...We were happy....Then, Our family returned my brother and I to the rescue June 2019, 5yrs later! Why? Because our Dad adopted a pitbull after they adopted us, and they already had a King Charles Cavalier... Why did he do that? who knows ... and that dog was picking on my brother Chuck, and human Mom was too stressed out to handle a new baby and the attacks... So we came back to our Rescuer in search of a loving, quiet home to retire in and take our walks.... we were in foster care a long time till our foster parents decided to travel, and then we became semi permanent residents of our rescuer… my sweet brother Chuck recently crossed over rainbow bridge and I am alone now… I would love nothing more than to be with an active Elder person or couple that takes walks and enjoys my company…. I’m a diamond in the rough I may not be beautiful outside but I’m beautiful inside I’m loyal, dedicated, and obedient… Will you let me spend my final chapters with you? Please consider an elder bonded pair, these pups are so well behaved, they are currently with Foster Parents in Yorba Linda who will tell you how good they are...

Story
Tyler is truly the whole package — everything you could want in a dog! This sweet boy is approximately 6 years old and weighs 14 pounds. He came to us after his previous owner could no longer care for him, but it’s clear he was very loved, and now we’re on a mission to find him the perfect forever home. Tyler is incredibly friendly, affectionate, loving and adores cuddling in your lap. He gets along wonderfully with other dogs, is great with kids, and doesn’t mind cats — making him a fantastic fit for many types of households. This handsome guy is house-trained, walks well on a leash, and rides calmly in the car. He has a mellow, easygoing personality with just the right amount of playful spunk — especially when he’s doing zoomies in the yard!  Tyler isn’t a big barker, but he is fast! He’ll need a secure front door setup, as he’s quick on his paws and can slip out if given the chance. If you’re looking for a loyal, loving companion who’s already got the basics down and plenty of charm to spare, Tyler might just be your perfect match.  Come meet Tyler — and fall in love! If you are interested in meeting Tyler, please fill out the application on our website www.greatpets.org. Once we have received and reviewed your information we will contact you to discuss if Tyler is a good fit for your home Tyler‘s $250 adoption donation includes vet exam, vaccinations, microchip, neuter surgery, flea control bloodwork.    October 22, 2025, 4:59 pm

Story
Meet Ali! Ali is an approximately 8-year-old schnauzer looking for her forever home. Ali is 15 pounds of cute. She is a great little dog with a gentle and kind demeanor. She tries to bound after stuffies to play fetch with the other dogs but doesn't quite get the game. She's happy to go along with it though. She likes to sit in your lap and will attempt gentle sniffs of your face. She loves her treats. She does great when at the vet's office getting examined. She is quiet most of the time - only little barks occasionally - but also just quietly sweet in her demeanor, too. She is great with young children and does well with people she has only just met. Ali came to us with her brother, Gimli, both abandoned when their humans divorced and neither person committed to their care. We are committed to Ali, though, and finding her the best home for her. Originally, we were convinced she should be adopted with Gimli. However, as we have learned more about the two in their shared foster home, we see that Ali and Gimli thrive on the attention they get from people around them. They do not seek each other out but make it their duty to seek out their new favorite humans time and again! We are confident that they will both due well in their own separate homes with their own people (and family pets) to bond with.
