Story
Hi There!! Lucy Here, born in rescue in 2014 with 7 other siblings to our Mama Mercedes. I am a sweet girl, very quiet and loving, gentle, obedient and good on leash and love long walks and can walk 3 miles! I love car rides and outdoor dining with you as we are well behaved!. I was available for adoption with my brother Chuck, we looked alike in our faces but not our body, Rescue thinks that Mom was a Puggle and Dad a Schnauzer. All us puppies and Mama were adopted in 2014, we had a family of our own to share, a Mom, Dad our own little girl and a fur sister...We were happy....Then, Our family returned my brother and I to the rescue June 2019, 5yrs later! Why? Because our Dad adopted a pitbull after they adopted us, and they already had a King Charles Cavalier... Why did he do that? who knows ... and that dog was picking on my brother Chuck, and human Mom was too stressed out to handle a new baby and the attacks... So we came back to our Rescuer in search of a loving, quiet home to retire in and take our walks.... we were in foster care a long time till our foster parents decided to travel, and then we became semi permanent residents of our rescuer… my sweet brother Chuck recently crossed over rainbow bridge and I am alone now… I would love nothing more than to be with an active Elder person or couple that takes walks and enjoys my company…. I’m a diamond in the rough I may not be beautiful outside but I’m beautiful inside I’m loyal, dedicated, and obedient… Will you let me spend my final chapters with you? Please consider an elder bonded pair, these pups are so well behaved, they are currently with Foster Parents in Yorba Linda who will tell you how good they are...

Story
Meet Goliath! Goliath is a sweet senior boy who came to us from a high-kill shelter after his previous owner could no longer care for him. Having spent his whole life in a home, he was understandably confused about how he ended up there—but thanks to rescue, Goliath is now safe and ready for his next chapter. This spry 12 year old senior weighs about 17 pounds and is currently on the thin side, which is not uncommon for dogs coming from a shelter environment. With consistent meals, patience, and loving care, he is expected to do well. While we’re not certain of his breed, we are certain he’s 100% a good boy. Goliath is dog-friendly, people-friendly, and has a calm, gentle nature that makes him a joy to be around. He would thrive in a quiet, low-key home with someone who values companionship and enjoys a relaxed pace of life. He isn’t a barker, enjoys leisurely walks, does well on leash, and would love a home with a backyard where he can wander and soak up the day at his own pace. If you’re looking to give a deserving senior a loving forever home, please consider opening your heart to Goliath. He’s ready to return that kindness with endless love and companionship. If you are interested in meeting Goliath please complete the adoption application on our website, www.greatpets.org. Goliath is fully vaccinated, neutered and microchipped. His adoption donation is $150.February 13, 2026, 4:27 pm

Story
12-year-old Heckle was surrendered to Los Angeles Animal Care & Control's Baldwin Park Shelter after his owner passed away. His owner's daughter tried to find someone to care for him, but sadly, she was unsuccessful. Heckle weighs 30 lbs. and is a sweet and gentle boy. He is currently on a two-week Frosted Fling with his brother Jeckle (also available for adoption), so we can learn what they are like in a home setting. Stay tuned for updates from Heckle and Jeckle's Fling! To meet Heckle, please email: placement@frostedfacesfoundation.org

Story
Walter was brought to Santa Barbara County Animal Services by the Good Samaritan who found him. Sadly, no one came to claim him. We welcomed Walter as a Frosted Face on February 16th. He is about 12 years old and weighs just under 10 lbs. On the same day this cutie arrived, he was chosen for a two-week Frosted Fling. Walter received lots of TLC in the comfort of a home while we learned more about him. His foster mom reports: "Walter is the gentlest soul. He is a total people dog who bonds quickly and loves being near his humans. He loves face rubs, cozy beds, and basking in the sun. Walter ate one can of food a day, and I fed him three times a day. After each meal, he would take a nap, and then be ready for a walk. He slept through the night from 10pm to 8am. When left home alone, he would bark for 10 minutes, but then he settled down and slept. Walter enjoys slow walks with occasional stops to sniff the surroundings. He does a little happy prance on walks that is so cute! He is very interested in meeting other dogs, but he is never aggressive." Be sure to watch the adorable videos of Walter from his fling! To meet Walter, please email: placement@frostedfacesfoundation.org
