This affectionate boy is quick to deal out gentle attention, happily leaning in for pets, greeting new people, and soaking up affection like a seasoned pro. He walks nicely on a leash, making him an all-around pleasant sidekick for daily life. Ace also appears to enjoy the company of other dogs and has done well around cats, so a home with a confident canine companion could really help him feel more secure. His biggest challenge is being left alone, as he becomes distressed and may bark, whine, or scratch when separated from his people, so he is likely to thrive with someone who is home often, can bring him along, use daycare support, or help him build confidence gradually. Because he can be eager to slip through an open door, careful management around entrances will help keep this clever little card safely in the deck where he belongs.
