Buddy is sweet and adorable and looking for a special forever home! Buddy came to us from a local shelter after he was found as a stray and not reclaimed. He is a very affectionate boy who loves people and going on walks. His ideal home would be quiet with someone home most of the time, and experienced schnauzer lover, and if there is another dog, one that is friendly and submissive. He does great with female dogs and submissive males. He does not do well being handled by a groomer or vet, so we would not consider him to be a candidate to be a lap dog. But if you're looking for an affectionate companion, Buddy is available! He is being fostered in the Chicago area. He is about 5 years old, neutered, just had a dental, up to date on shots, micro-chipped, heart-worm and fecal tested negative. He weighs about 12 lbs. Tia is sweet and looking for a great forever home! Tia's owner had to give her up because Tia was too stressed and fearful around her young children. She is a purebred miniature schnauzer and all white. She is friendly once she knows you and will need a passionate schnauzer lover who will be patient with her. She needs a calm home with no young kids and a fenced yard. She is very housetrained and a great dog once she decompresses. She's spayed, micro-chipped and up-to-date on all of her shots. Her heart-worm and fecal tests are both negative. All she needs now is someone who shower her with love and kindness. DOB is 3/6/22 and she weighs about 15 lbs. Sarge's owner went to jail and so Sarge did too at Animal Control. We then bailed him out. He is 15 years old, totally blind and one of his eye's is painful, so it was removed. He recently got all his rotten teeth extracted and he was neutered. Please help him! Tucker came to us with a punctured eye from an open intake shelter and had to have it removed. He is fully recovered and in a foster home. Tucker can be cranky at times and he is very, very old so our rescue will keep him comfortable for however long he needs. Please HELP him!
