Breed: Lhasa Apso mix (best guess) Weight: ~20 lbs Darla is a 6-year-old Lhasa Apso mix with a scruffy salt-and-pepper coat and a thoughtful little expression that makes you feel like she’s always taking everything in. She’s a sturdy, solid girl around 20 pounds and carries herself with quiet confidence. Now that she’s settling into foster care, her personality is starting to shine. Darla loves being near her people and will happily choose a cozy spot close to wherever you are. She’s calm, quiet, and content just being part of your day. She sleeps through the night in her kennel, keeps it clean, and already knows how to sit and shake. And when she gets excited? Zoomies. Followed by the most surprising little howl — just a couple notes — that will absolutely make you smile. She’s begun playing with one of the resident dogs and is showing that she has both a steady side and a playful spark. ✨ Quiet but playful ✨ Enjoys staying close to her people ✨ Dog-friendly ✨ Sleeps through the night ✨ Knows “sit” Darla is past the puppy stage but still has plenty of personality ahead of her. Please share Tyler to help him find a home! Tyler, the super cute, adorable little schnauzer mix, is still looking for his home. This should surprise exactly none of us, given Tyler's attitude. It's not great, folks. He's kind of a pain in the behind, really, in that he's not likely to give you the time of day. Don't expect to be able to pet this guy. Oh no. You can feed him the best premium food, provide Perrier bottled water, give him a deluxe heated and cooled place to sleep, even an imported European treat or two. BUT DON'T YOU TRY TO PET TYLER. His months on the lam in Beloit, Kansas, made an impression on him: people are not to be trusted, and that includes you, whoever you are. On a positive note, because we are glass-half-full type of people, Tyler really, truly does like his dog friends, and most of them like him back. In fact, we insist that he has a dog friend in his new home. And we think he has the potential to maybe eventually like humans. He is making progress on leash, so there's that. If you're willing to completely ignore him long enough, possibly, there's a chance, you might be able to someday . . . touch Tyler?
