Story
Please share Tyler to help him find a home! Tyler, the super cute, adorable little schnauzer mix, is still looking for his home. This should surprise exactly none of us, given Tyler's attitude. It's not great, folks. He's kind of a pain in the behind, really, in that he's not likely to give you the time of day. Don't expect to be able to pet this guy. Oh no. You can feed him the best premium food, provide Perrier bottled water, give him a deluxe heated and cooled place to sleep, even an imported European treat or two. BUT DON'T YOU TRY TO PET TYLER. His months on the lam in Beloit, Kansas, made an impression on him: people are not to be trusted, and that includes you, whoever you are. On a positive note, because we are glass-half-full type of people, Tyler really, truly does like his dog friends, and most of them like him back. In fact, we insist that he has a dog friend in his new home. And we think he has the potential to maybe eventually like humans. He is making progress on leash, so there's that. If you're willing to completely ignore him long enough, possibly, there's a chance, you might be able to someday . . . touch Tyler? Call or text The Pet Connection at 913-671-7387 if you'd like to learn more about Tyler. He's in Beloit, Kansas, at The Sanctuary with The Pet Connection. But don't worry, transport is available to bring Tyler to his new home! #thepetconnection

Story
Meet Ricky! 🐾 Ricky is an adorable, energetic 1.5-year-old mix—possibly part Miniature Schnauzer—weighing in at just 11 lbs. This little guy is full of personality and loyalty, happily following his people wherever they go. Ricky loves to play—whether it's with toys, other dogs, or kids. He’s even curious about the resident cat and would love to be friends (if only the cat agreed!). His playful, social nature makes him a great companion for an active home. He pulls a bit on leash, but with some consistent training, he’ll be a great walking buddy. A fenced yard would be a dream come true for Ricky, especially since he loves chasing after balls and exploring his surroundings—especially squirrels and bunnies! Ricky is very smart and eager to learn, though he’s still working on some manners and boundaries. With a patient and consistent adopter, he’ll thrive in no time. He’s mostly house-trained—just needs a little guidance when settling into a new environment and someone to pay attention to his signals. He’s also kennel trained, though he'd much prefer to be snuggled up in your lap! If you’re looking for a playful, affectionate, and clever little companion, Ricky might just be your perfect match! All Heart of America dogs are altered, micro chipped and will have age-appropriate vaccines. The adoption fee for all of our dogs/puppies is $225. Story
Harley is a 1 year old miniature schnauzer and weighs about 14lbs. She is very loving and energetic. Where ever you go she will want to follow and will snuggle up as soon as she see the opportunity. She’s been great with our young children. She loves to be outside but doesn’t have much experience on a leash. We are safely looking for a home for her and her sister due to our son’s major allergies.
