Story
Kamori was rescued off an abandoned property where 30 dogs were living. They were all fighting to survive and wouldn't have made it through the freeze. We are so grateful we were able to find a foster to save their lives. Kamori is a super sweet and spunky pup who loves everyone she meets. She would live another doggy companion to spend her days with.  ##1995838##

Story
30 dogs were living on an abandoned property. Several rescues came together to help get them all to safety.  Figaro has done amazingly in his foster home. He is crate trained, rides well in the car and gets along with everyone he comes across. This includes children, cats and dogs of all sizes. Figaro loves to play with other dogs, run around outside and then snuggle for some down time. He is 8 months old and his adoption fee is $350 ##1995832##

Story
Kelsey was one of 30 dogs who came from an abandoned property. Her siblings were slowly being killed off by coyotes. We were able to help with 6 of the dogs and seceral other rescues helped save the rest. Kelsey is a very sweet girl who has just the right balance of playful and cuddly. She would be a wonderful addition to just about any family. Kelsey loves playing with other dogs so she would love to find a family that has a playful pup for her to romp around with. She is 8 months old and her adoption fee is $350. ##1995837##

Story
Berry was surrendered to Dallas Animal Services is in a sorry state; she was matted, dirty, and oh so frightened.  Berry is a gorgeous girl, with long, long eyelashes and an adorable Yorkie-Schnauzer face.  She is hypoallergenic and will need to be groomed and brushed to avoid getting matted. Berry's ideal home would be a female only home; her human would be home more than not, and not have children.  Berry needs an adopter who has experience with scared dogs and who is willing to allow her time to trust and settle in to her new home.  I promise you, she is worth it.  Berry is a snuggle bug and a Velcro dog and will make someone a fantastic lap dog and best friend.  She is content to lay around the house, and adores walks and chasing squirrels. No dog parks and Berry would do best as an only dog so she can have all of your love and attention. ##1984993##

Story
Meet Comet. He is a Schnoodle. He is 8 years old and weighs 25 lbs. His plight started when his owners moved from a house into an apartment and he was stressed, and he bit the older daughter when he ran under a bed, and she was trying to drag him from under it. It scared him. So, they took him to the vet to euthanize him and a nice lady with a cat rescue overheard what was going on. They had just weighed him to put him down! He needs a break and a good, loving home. We are hoping for someone that is home more than not. Someone that will be committed to him. He is not a huge fan of storms but does fine with extra attention. He is house trained.  He needs an experienced owner and someone who will work with the training he has received.  He just finished three weeks of training and we will share the trainer's info to make sure you can work together.    He needs an active owner who enjoys walking, lor light jogging.  He needs a seasoned dog owner and a strong leader.  Applications to foster or adopt Comet are at codysfriendsrescue.org ##1996053##

Story
Hello, my name is Zucchini! I am a shy, male, 15 pound, 4 year old schnauzer mix and just like in your vegetable garden, I could use a little TLC! I am looking for a quiet home that can watch me grow into a happy, healthy dog. I currently am a little underweight and should weigh closer to 17-20 pounds. I wouldn't hurt a fly, but I definitely need time to warm up to you. I do like belly rubs, and getting scratches! I probably wouldn't mind another confident dog, or an independent cat that would leave me be. My ideal home would be a quiet place with someone patient who doesn't have kids, because, I know could grow into that perfect dog you've been waiting for! Could you be the one for me?
