Story
I got Jeffery about a year and a half ago from a breeder in Oklahoma. Jeffery is now 1year and 3 months old. His birthday is 02/21/2023. Honestly for his new home, I’m looking for a family with kids who loves dogs and is willing to take him anywhere. He loves car rides, playing a little rough, but mostly he just wants to be held like a baby and rubbed on. He’s very energetic, full of personality, he loves exploring new places and things. Oh he also does not like tap water. Sometimes he will drink it, most times he won’t.

Story
Meet Comet. He is a Schnoodle. He is 8 years old and weighs 25 lbs. His plight started when his owners moved from a house into an apartment and he was stressed, and he bit the older daughter when he ran under a bed, and she was trying to drag him from under it. It scared him. So, they took him to the vet to euthanize him and a nice lady with a cat rescue overheard what was going on. They had just weighed him to put him down! He needs a break and a good, loving home. We are hoping for someone that is home more than not. Someone that will be committed to him. He is not a huge fan of storms but does fine with extra attention. He is house trained.  He needs an experienced owner and someone who will work with the training he has received. He needs to be the only dog if possible.  He just finished three weeks of training and we will share the trainer's info to make sure you can work together.    He needs an active owner who enjoys walking, lor light jogging.  He needs a seasoned dog owner and a strong leader.  Applications to foster or adopt Comet are at codysfriendsrescue.org ##1996053##

Story
Berry was surrendered to Dallas Animal Services is in a sorry state; she was matted, dirty, and oh so frightened.  Berry is a gorgeous girl, with long, long eyelashes and an adorable Yorkie-Schnauzer face.  She is hypoallergenic and will need to be groomed at least every 2 months and brushed daily to avoid getting matted. She is content to lay around the house, and adores walks. Berry's ideal home would include: 1) A female only home, where her primary human is home more than not 2) No children, No dogs, No cats 3)  An adopter who has experience with scared dogs; who is willing to allow her time to trust and settle in to her new home.  4) A dog door and a yard to chase squirels!  Berry should not be taken to dog parks Berry is a snuggle bug and a Velcro dog and will make someone a fantastic lap dog and best friend.   ##1984993##

Story
This is Alisse. Her and Cassie were abandoned in their home when their owners moved away.  Both matted and dirty girls were  taken to a local shelter where we rescued them.   Alisse is  1.5 to 2 years old and weighs 18 lbs. She has come out of her shell and is now groomed, happy and playful.  She is super cute.  She would like a home with another dog to show her the ropes. It could be your dog and doesn’t need to be Cassie. They are not an overly bonded pair.  ##2065087##
