Story
Meet Harry, an energetic almost-one-year-old gentleman who is just waiting to bring joy and playful enthusiasm to his forever home! This sweet boy is reliably potty-trained with a consistent schedule (about every two hours) and sleeps soundly in his crate at night. While it took him 2 weeks to settle in and learn the ropes in his foster home, Harry is now a happy and engaged companion. He's a young pup with lots of zest for life and thrives on at least two good walks a day or playtime in a spacious yard where he can chase a ball to his heart's content. His absolute FAVORITE thing is romping around with other young dogs (dog parks!), and he's SO gentle with children and furry friends alike. Harry is still perfecting his leash etiquette, especially when other dogs are nearby, but he's a smart cookie and eager to please. He also enjoys a good chew toy to keep him entertained. Could Harry be the perfect playful addition your family has been waiting for? We are a RESCUE GROUP, not a shelter, and all of our animals are in foster homes. To start the adoption process, email us at adoptions@earstexas.org requesting an application. Submitting an application does not commit you in any way, but helps us make the best match between people and our available dogs. Your current or past dogs must be inside dogs who have been spayed/neutered and are on heartworm prevention. All of the dogs in our program are inside dogs and are completely vetted including all vaccinations, spayed/neutered, free of internal parasites, microchipped, heartworm negative and on prevention before adoption. Our adoption process includes an application, check of vet records or personal references, interview, neutral site meet & greet with the dog and your family, and a home visit.

Scrappy might be little, but he’s got a big personality packed into that tiny frame! This cute-as-a-button guy is equal parts charm and sass, and he’s looking for an experienced adopter who appreciates the quirks that come with the “spicy small dog” life.Scrappy can be sweet, snuggly, and silly—but he also has opinions and isn’t afraid to share them. He’ll thrive in a home that understands small dogs with big attitudes and can provide consistent structure, patience, and respect for his boundaries. If you’ve had sassy littles before, you’ll know exactly what we mean!Scrappy isn’t for everyone—but for the right person, he’ll be the most loyal, hilarious, and loving little companion around.

Story
With a name like â&#194&#128&#194&#156June Bugâ&#194&#128&#194&#157 you might think she would be a bit â&#194&#128&#194&#156derpyâ&#194&#128&#194&#157 or scatter brained or â&#194&#128&#194&#156directionally challengedâ&#194&#128&#194&#157 as the eponymous insect is, but lo! The gentile June Bug is none of those things. Nor will she climb the walls or spin endlessly on her back. Instead June Bug might lay in her dog bed and chill until itâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s time for a walk or a romp in the outdoors. June Bug has that type of doggy zen that us mere humans can only aspire to. Perfectly content to just be, and be freely affectionate. She is rumored to like ball toys and is known to get along well with other canines. Her chill has not been tested by felines. Consider this girl if you are prepared for some love and zen-like joy in your life. All Dallas Pets Alive adoptable pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines upon adoption. Story
Oh, Otto! Otto is a friendly and chill senior who is looking for his furever home after being found as a stray. He is leash trained, crate trained, and house trainedâ&#194&#128¦of course he isâ&#194&#128¦heâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s a sweet little gentleman! He is healing from some skin issues so he can be a little shy at first and prefers pets on his lovely little head instead of a full body stroke. But now that he is feeling better, you can really see how grateful he is to have loving people nearby. He is low energy due to his age but there is a curious twinkle in his eyes. He would do well in a quiet and calm household or apartment. If you are looking for a quiet companionâ&#194&#128¦maybe you otto give Otto a look!
