Story
🐾 MURPHY the Morkie is looking for his new home 🐾 Murphy is a 4 year old, 17 lb super affectionate and cuddly Yorkie/Maltese mix. He loves nothing more than sitting on a lap and just being near his humans. Murphy loves his walks and his great on a leash. Although he doesn't love car rides, he does well sitting in the front seat where he can be pet. He's potty & crate trained and is great with kids as he is a rehoming dog coming from a family with children. Chewing on his soft toys as one of his favorite things to do. He's really good with other dogs as long as they're introduced properly. He loves playing with his big sister Izzy who is also available for adoption. This is a post for K9 Connection Pet Rehoming And Adoption Inc. Call Vicky Hetrick at (760) 672-2258. We are a 501c3 rescue so an adoption fee will apply. Please go to our website to fill out the application. You need to use a laptop or computer as the application does not pull up correctly on smart phones or iPads. www.k9connectionpetadoption.org

Story
Meet this darling Yorkshire Terrier named Willow (aka Leela)! She is so affectionate and loves to give kisses. She also loves to sit in your lap. Willow had to have her eye removed and has very limited vision in the other eye, generally speaking she is considered a blind dog. Although, she only had 8 teeth removed she was already missing well over 20 others which if you do the math it doesn't leave a whole lotta teeth left. She needs a calm home where she would be safe. She does like to run around and is a happy little girl! Willow is about 10 years old and about 8 pounds. If you are a Yorkie lover then get your applications in ASAP.

Story
This is Wicket (yes, like the Ewok)! He is guessed to be around 9-10 years old and just the sweetest dog ever! He absolutely loves his humans and is friendly with all other animals… big and little dogs, cats, small rodents, etc.! When I say friendly he wags his tail and loves to greet and follow around… not a lot of ‘play’ but loves other animals for company :) He really enjoys his walks and needs a home where 1-2 walks a day for at least 20 min each are the norm… smelling is his jam :) He loves to go anywhere and everywhere with us… enjoys car rides, hanging at the beach, riding in the basket on my bike, etc. :) Wicket is a sensitive soul… he doesn’t like change and likes a consistent routine. He is a ‘silent stressor’. His tummy gets easily upset with any changes and he is on a special diet with some probiotics and takes Pepcid about 30 min prior to any meals. But, when on a good routine with a predictable day and food he does really well! He also stresses when he sees people ‘leave’. He struggled the first few days he was with us with loud howling and barking, but now he is fine when we are at work (we have cameras so we check in on him)… but we never let him see us leave, have the TV on, and we never leave him more than 6 hours! Wickett has a little hitch in his get along so stairs can be a challenge and he needs a little assist to get on furniture for snuggle time. He definitely takes a little TLC with meal prep and when leaving, but other than that he is just an adorable, loving, sweet dog and is ready for his furever family:)

Story
We are so happy to introduce you to Toasted Marshmallow and thanks to the shelter his lab work and dental have been performed and he's available for adoption. He's been in a foster home for 2 weeks and this is what we've learned, Toasted Marshmallow is a delight! He has the energy of a much younger dog. I would say he's the most fun loving dog I've ever had live with me. He's so good, quiet, and lovable. He follows me around everywhere. Toasted Marshmallow checks all the boxes, except he hasn't been exposed to cats, but his demeaner tells us he would likely welcome any creature into his realm.Meet 13-year-old Toasted Marshmallow--named by my 13-year-old daughter because this adorable and fun-loving Maltese-Poodle (Maltipoo) has one rear brown paw from the dominating gene of the brown poodle. Marshmallow is healthy and loves to sleep in your lap after a playful round of scratch my butt. He is very obedient and when not receiving attention, he will quietly cuddle himself in his bed. Marshmallow was recently neutered and had a dental that removed many rotten teeth. He has healed quickly and is waiting patiently for his forever home and family.
