Story
Teddy’s an 8yo 12lb Morkie. He’s dog and kid 13+ friendly. He’s housebroken when kept on a schedule but is pee pad trained. Teddy loves a secure fenced in yard to run and explore and is working on harness leashed walks. He loves to play with toys, be with his people especially for cuddles and affection. He’s playful, silly and agile so doesn’t seem to act his age. Teddy’s foster requires a calm home, where someone is home often, so not to be left for long periods of time, a secure fenced in yard, if another dog he needs to have a person of his own, be allowed on furniture to cuddle with his people along with leadership, consistency, structure and to continue working on training. If your home DOES NOT meet these requirement’s please DO NOT put an application in. We will not call anyone whose home does not meet the needed requirements. Also, we will be concentrating on local to foster applications 1st since home checks and meets with all humans and animals in home is needed at meet. Our fosters are all volunteers so aren’t always able to travel too far. Teddy as all dogs should have 2 weeks in their new home with just their people who live in the home and to not have people over for at least 2 weeks. Dogs need time to settle in and adjust to their new people and environment first so they can learn to trust them first. Teddy came to Tiny Paws where it was discovered he had bladder stones that needed to be removed which our vet partner was able to remove the 4 that he had. He has healed and feeling much better. His stones analysis was mixed Calcium Oxalate Monohydrate and Calcium Oxalate Dihydrate with a recommendation of a c/d multicare to be best diet to maintain on. Teddy is neutered, vaccinated, hw negative and microchipped. Currently in Chester Springs, PA. If your home meets the needed requirements and you’re interested in applying to adopt please do so at www.tprescue.org

Story
I brought him home when he was just two months old, and now he is almost seven years old. He barks a lot, and when my baby was first born, his barking would often startle her. Despite that, I tried my best to keep him as part of our family. However, as my child grows, I find myself having less time and attention to give him. He has started urinating in inappropriate places around the house, which I believe may be his way of expressing frustration or seeking attention. He also hasn’t been particularly friendly toward my baby. He is a very clever dog with a strong personality, and sometimes his behavior seems intentional, especially when he is upset or doesn’t get his way. Aside from these issues, he is extremely friendly, affectionate, and enthusiastic toward people.
