Story
🐶 Loving Home Needed for Sweet Senior Maltese × Toy Poodle It breaks our hearts to write this, but we’re looking for a wonderful forever home for our beloved 11-year-old Maltese × Toy Poodle. We’re relocating permanently to Australia, and after speaking with our veterinarian and researching the process, we’ve made the incredibly difficult decision that the long international flight and mandatory quarantine would be too much for her at her age. About her: • 11 years old • Maltese × Toy Poodle • Approximately 8 lbs • Spayed (fixed) • Up to date on all vaccinations • Has no remaining teeth (this doesn’t slow her down at all—she eats just fine!) • Sweet, loving companion who loves being close to her people Our only goal is finding someone who will love her as much as we do during her senior years. We are not charging a rehoming fee—finding the right home is far more important to us than money.

Story
Hi, I’m Bobby, a 4.4 pound YorkieChihuahua blend with the seasoned charm of a tiny Hollywood veteran who’s been in the business for over a decade. At 11 years old, I’ve mastered the art of quiet living and prefer life at a gentle, unhurried pace. Favorite Things: Bobby loves settling into his cozy bed and enjoying the comfort of familiar surroundings. He prefers peaceful moments and appreciates having a space where he can relax without interruption. When he decides it’s time for affection, he offers it with a sweetness that feels intentional and heartfelt. Training and Manners: Bobby is housetrained when let out frequently and communicates his needs clearly. He sleeps comfortably in his dog bed at night and maintains a steady routine that suits his tranquil nature. He can be left alone for several hours without concern and moves through his day with quiet confidence. Health and Care: Bobby is microchipped, neutered, and up to date on vaccines. He’ll need monthly flea and heartworm prevention, like any dog. As a senior, Bobby has some aches, pains, and arthritis. A Chihuahua-savvy adopter who understands his cues and respects his boundaries when it comes to petting and affection will help him thrive. Other Animals: Bobby has experience with dogs of all sizes and generally keeps to himself around them. His calm, neutral demeanor makes him easy to live with in a home that includes respectful canine companions. He has not been tested with cats, though his quiet nature suggests he would likely coexist without issue. Children: Bobby needs an adultonly home. He prefers predictable environments and does not enjoy being approached unexpectedly or disturbed while resting. Ideal Home: Bobby would thrive in a lowactivity household that values gentle routines and a low-key, steady pace. He enjoys having a comfortable place to rest and appreciates adopters who respect his preference for choosing when he wants interaction. A patient, understanding home that understands his boundaries  will allow him to feel safe and supported. Overall: Bobby is a small, tenacious senior with the understated charm of a classic character actor: subtle, expressive, and unforgettable once you know him. If you’re looking for a mellow companion who enjoys quiet days, soft beds, and affection on his own terms, Bobby may be the perfect addition to your story. If so, visit www.PoodleandPoochRescue.org; if it seems like a good match, his foster family will be in touch. His adoption donation is $200. ##2723882##

Story
Hi, I'm Daisy!  I’m a tiny, 8-lb Maltese/Poodle blend girl and I'm 10 years old. My hearing and vision aren't what they used to be, but I don’t let that stop me from exploring. Now I just need to discover a very special, patient family who will love me just the way I am. Favorite Things: Daisy LOVES her food and loves soaking up attention. Toys and playing are not really her thing, but exploring her surroundings is high on her list of favorite activities. She also loves being around her person and will sit next to them as much as possible (and extra close in bed at night). Training & Manners:  Daisy is working on her house training and will need to be taken outside frequently.  Due to her vision, she doesn’t do well on a leash so will need more practice with leash walking, and her hearing sometimes makes it difficult to communicate with her. The good news is that she is highly food-motivated to improve her manners.  She is verbal when she wants food but is otherwise quiet. Health and Care: Daisy is spayed, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped. She is on daily drops for dry eyes and takes her monthly preventatives for fleas and heartworm, along with medications for anxiety. She will likely require professional grooming every 6-8 weeks to keep her looking and feeling her best. Other Animals:  Daisy has experience with other small dogs and cats.  Children: This gentle, curious gal would do best in a home with respectful teens only.    Ideal Home: Daisy would do well in an apartment, condo or single-family home.  Her “dream” home would be a house without steps (although she is tiny enough to carry) and no pool (for safety reasons with her vision impairment).  A fenced yard would keep her safe and give her room for her adventurous explorations. She has free rein of her foster home and can be left for several hours without issues. She sleeps in the “people bed” at night and is happy to cozy up to her person. Overall: Daisy is a great and loyal companion asking only for food, love, attention, and patience (and creativity when it comes to communication.)  Could special Daisy be the one for you? If so, visit www.PoodleandPoochRescue.org and submit an adoption application. If it looks like a good fit, her foster family will reach out with more information. Her adoption donation is $175. ##2667454##
