Story
Sid is a 1-year-old, 6-pound Toy Poodle, and according to his foster, he is absolutely perfect. Which seems to be a recurring theme with poodles around here.
Our very first little poodle was named Snuggles. She was a blind senior who was heartworm positive when she came to us. We foster failed her and never changed her name, mostly because Snuggles was exactly what she did. Since then, we have come to the conclusion that all Miniature and Toy Poodles should probably just be named Snuggles. They are such smart, caring little dogs, and Sid is no exception.
If Sid could physically glue himself to your side, he would. And when it’s time to sleep, Sid WILL be joining you in bed, thank you very much. 😂
He likes having an open crate available as his little den and travels well in the car when crated. He doesn’t seem to have separation anxiety, either. He just strongly prefers that when you are available, you understand that your purpose in life is to be his furniture.
He’s usually a pretty quiet little guy. There are exceptions. Food is exciting. And if he hasn’t seen you in approximately five minutes, (years to him), your return deserves an appropriate amount of celebration.
Sid has mastered going up stairs. Going down them is still under review. 😂 He’ll get there.
He does great with other small dogs and would be happy to have little canine friends. Big dogs and children seem to be a bit much for him, so we’re going to skip those for Sid. Cats are currently an unknown. He seems to be okay for grooming. Thank goodness, as he was found looking like a completely different dog. He lost almost a pound of matted fur!!
Basically, if you’ve always wanted a tiny, curly-haired shadow who thinks being beside you is the best place in the world, Sid might be your Snuggles.

His minimum adoption donation amount is $375. He is neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations, microchipped, dewormed, heart worm checked, and on flea/tick and heart worm preventatives.

We do not ship, you would need to travel to pick up your babies if you live out of state.
Your current pets must be up-to-date on core vaccines, spayed/neutered, and on heart worm prevention year round. You must be at least 21-years-old to adopt.
